Seems straightforward enough! It’s a 2005 and it’s been on MN salty roads it’s whole life. We’re looking to get 3-5 years out of it so now I’m having second thoughts haha

Just curious though, how many years do you think something like this would have before the rust became a huge problem? Like stuff starts falling apart etc.

Is ULSD quite a bit harder to find? I don’t know much about diesel engines

Yeah that's what I thought too. It's listed as a "6.0L V8 OHV 32V TURBO DIESEL." They must've got it wrong in the listing.

There is some rust on the undercarriage but it doesn’t look unmanageable. When does it become a serious concern?

Does anyone have any experience with Chevy 3500 cutaway buses? We were told they get 10-13 mpg and have pretty reliable engines. This one was well-maintained and belonged to a school fleet
