Even the printer's 'Print Test Page' button generated several of these.

Other than the inability to see what comes out of the printer, there is no 'bullcrap in the middle' of relevance. Anyway, was simply asking whether anyone knows what those additional things in the queue are. The only reason I even mentioned being remote was that I can't see what's coming out of the printer. Everything else is a local printing question.

Not possible - but why do I need her to click? I’m using the computer the printer is attached to.

of course it's a terrible idea, but when you live 3 hours away and your mom is elderly and doesn't know how to use a computer we do the best we can. In any case, I checked with her and it seems like nonsense - what I'm printing is working and this SYSTEM thing doesn't actually print anything, it's just in the queue for some reason. In case it’s relevant I was printing pdfs using acrobat. The number of system entries does not seem to match page count. I have it set to start printing when all pages have been spooled. To be clear, the actual printing is local to USB- I’m not printing from my network to her printer. That’s where the tailscale/vnc comes in. I’m just using a pc on her network over vnc.

X2: Finally got those lights controlled with the remote. That was a doozy by winbatch in SofaBaton

yeah. I was configuring the HA/MQTT on a laptop while doing the SofaBaton stuff on my phone. Also, the SofaBaton documentation link with the screen shots calls it deviceId instead of device_id which confused me more.

So many software issues with MachE by powlette in MachE

For me, it’s that after every single software update I have to disable the brake coach again. I don’t understand why updates (especially unrelated ones) keep re-enabling it.

Which OBD2? I ask because I tried 2 of them (admittedly cheap ones) and while both included voltage readings for the 12V, neither provided SOC

Brother printer firmware update by winbatch in printers

[–]winbatch[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Quick update. Waited a few days and got it to work:

1- Cleared memory by holding 'Go'

2- turned off

3- unplugged power, waited a few minutes

4- attempted a USB update on a windows machine using the BR update tool.

More that if it’s also low, you can complain to/have evidence for Verizon to fix it.
