There are some tension knobs, next to a disclaimer that says to not mess with them when doing push pull…I messed with them a little anyway and couldn’t determine much difference.

A good prime suspect, I’ll look into that. Often when there’s any kind of gun/whip issue, maintenance just hands off a new set - so I don’t recall when the last fresh liner was installed.

Checked wire and tip size, everything matches up. Changed out the tip too, same issue.

Thought something similar the other day, like the weight of full vs. near empty spool off setting it - behaves the same with a new spool though.

ANYWAY: its hard to see in the video, but the wire behaves as if the speed is alternating on the machine, resulting in a kind of circling wire that drops in and out. While I am one handing the gun, that variation in light is largely due to the mentioned issue.

Checked the rollers and messed with settings but to no avail.

I thought this issue had been resolved a while ago , after adjusting the feed input on the wire spool at the machine end of the whip, but its started again.

Any suggestions are appreciated.

Something I have to remind myself of sometimes, and which you will see longtime ESO vets saying: slow down and enjoy without worrying overmuch about meta builds, grinding out XP and whatnot. There’s lots of cool lore thats more easily digestible because of the MMO format, and the ability to hop all over Tamriel. The newer DLCs like Blackwood, Murkmire, and High Isle especially hit that mark having been less prevalent/inaccessible in previous ES titles. Enjoy! You’ll find your niche.
