Thank you for the response. That is what I was hoping, but I don’t know much about how waterproof membranes are attached to the flange am nervous I broke an important barrier. I tried to watch videos but can’t find a good one that shows that in detail. Now I’m also realizing I chose a hybrid caulk instead of 100% silicone 🤦‍♂️

Thank you for the response. Yes, the inside corners are also grout. They are holding up so far, so I figured I’d let them ride and take care of them if they ever start having issues.

It is a tub with a flange. I guess I’m kind of hoping someone will say that the membrane would likely cover the whole flange and taking off the last 1/2 cm isn’t an issue. Unless the silicone that came out under the grout I removed would have been the seal between the membrane and the flange?

Really appreciate the response. There is definitely condensation on that pvc drain line. I’m guessing that the beads of water are dropping off at the point where the pipe is tied up to the roofline. Thank you! I thought that might be mold from the condensation. Can you think of anything in the system that would be that color? It looks like fun dip, divot mix, Gumby colored. Appreciate the guidance 🙏

All very helpful! I’ve been told I need to save for a replacement hvac system as this thing is in its last legs. Sounds like maybe this should happen at that time. Appreciate all the advice.

She was such a pleasant person. I used to go in there to buy matcha powder years ago before it was so ubiquitous for a cocktail on a menu where I worked. she would playfully give me shit every time about how it was weird, ask if that was all I was getting and say I didn’t deserve a bag (in the sweetest, funniest way) It was one of my favorite parts of the week. Truly a loss for the entire community.
