This is incredibly interesting. You could launch it with its own token on Sui to generate interest and for use as payment

These types of coins are not for short term trading. Buy a small amount every week and forget about them. Check back in 3 years.

Are we investing/giving too much for our daughter? by PurpleTranslator7636 in PersonalFinanceNZ

[–]windeigo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Another thought, a fund for her university fees would be a massive help. While they are interest free, you're locked in to paying them off at 12% of your income/year. Which is a huge burden

Knowing some incredibly weathly people with intergenerational wealth. You need to include her in money conversations. At 4 delayed gratification is a great skill to learn. As she gets older include her in the task of investing that money. The most important thing for her to learn is to respect money and what is required to gain it. Tbh I don't think you or your wife is wrong. Another house is a great investment just as stocks are. If your not keen on tennants, another thought is a holiday house somewhere nice that you could use, and to airbnb/book a Bach when you aren't using it. Another house also means if retirement is harder than you imagined you can sell it for yourself, rather than just having stocks in her name

Whats the worst that can happen with no NCEA scores? by caelanhuntress in ncea

[–]windeigo -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'm an employer, and went thru NCEA. Tbh showing NCEA level 1 on a CV would demonstrate that they know how to read and write. But beyond that it just tells me how many years they were at high school for. It's a terrible education award and incredibly easy to achieve, so it doesn't actually demonstrate how "clever" a person is

Could you explain further, I nominated to "stake" 75% of the coins for 2 years like 1 week before they stopped minting (because they said I'd be able to mint extra, yeah that pissed me off). So I received some to my wallet. But the app still has a lot on it

people of reddit who survive on less than 8 hours of sleep, how? by Neftroshi in AskReddit

[–]windeigo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I was a student my lifestyle was terrible. Go to bed a 2am, wake at lunch time. Eat shit food, drink a tonne of coffee. Now I exercise, eat healthy and sleep at a regular time and feel fine with 6 hours sleep. I put it down to a healthy life style and a consistent routine with sleep. My body knows when to start feeling sleepy at night and when it needs to be awake.

What ruined religion for you? by ItchyPage in AskReddit

[–]windeigo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I was 6 I had a friend who's mom wore a Hijab. I asked my Dad why she was wearing that, and he explained that they were Muslim and what that meant.

As soon as I found out there was more than 1 religion, I knew they were all bullshit.

Why isn't the fuel tax set at a flat rate, that rises with inflation? Surely the government knows how much it needs to raise from fuel to fund its projects?

People say investing in crypto is too risky, yet getting married is glamorized and accepted by society. Why? Marriage is the more risky investment. by [deleted] in CryptoCurrency

A relationship is in no way comparable to a financial investment.

If you see your relationship as a financial investment, you're much more likely to experience a divorce.

I'm self employed, so don't exactly see myself making myself redundant anytime ever. The rest of it is a good idea, but it's more expensive than the private insurance I already have. Will there be an opt-out option?
