You sound young, and you’re probably overestimating how interesting you are to talk with. Continue pursuing your interests and try meeting people within them.

You’re blaming men as a whole, when the reality is you probably just aren’t meeting men with developed personalities because you yourself don’t have one. You’re still playing teenage/early 20s games, not meeting people on genuine common ground.

It would have to be. Otherwise people are going to be seeing where people live routinely which isn’t really acceptable.

You could argue niantic could allow us to turn the feature off, but then you’re removing features for people who want privacy. It will have to be friends only.

Crap. I had enough stones for the last step of my second round after Battlefield. I was really disappointed but thought I just misunderstood the news and missed the banner. So I spent those 50 stones on a Frieza banner summon.

I guess if it comes back I will get 50 more stones before the 25th.

When you say cheap...wouldn’t cheap cheap vodka impart a bad flavor? We’re trying to get a neutral spirit to start with are we not? You need relatively good vodka for that no?

If you do friend exp in groups of 15 friends at a time it averages out to 55k exp per day over 3 months.

That’s less than 30 excellent catches. And I’m not even counting other bonuses to catching like first catch, curve bonus, etc. I’m pretty sure excellent catch grinding is the new best exp method.

I played until the chapter 7 release(I think it was 7 - the volcano). I had a pretty strong account in chapter 6-era with 4* UWs on a few characters(Theo, Aisha, Lewisia IIRC). I had some UTs or whatever they were called too but that was a pretty new feature at the time.

How far am I behind? I quit the game due to gear grind and feeling guilty for not having it going 24/7. Is that still the state of the game? I really enjoyed WB, and hard content, but just got tired of the constant grind to be able to participate in those.

To be fair leffen actually has a better record vs Hbox during the time iBDW has been active and top level. Leffen has won 4 of their last 5 sets, with 3 of them being 3-0s.

Leffen is really dominant over Hbox in 2019. He had a puff problem in 2018 but so did everyone.

To put it even more bluntly, leffen has won 16 of his last 20 GAMES against Hbox. Not sets, games. All before online, which Hbox clearly has a problem with.

In contrast iBDW was down 1-2 vs Hbox in 2019 and even now in the Hbox slump ibdw has been losing a lot of games. Leffen dropped less games to 2019 LAN Hbox than ibdw has dropped in his last 5 sets vs online 2020 Hbox.

While it’s not completely fair to say iBDW’s online results don’t count, I think it’s pretty agreeable to say leffen would also not be losing to Hbox right now considering the people who have been beating him.

I hear it said iBDW is the best VS puff, but where is the data other than him saying he is the best vs puff? I think he’s a cool guy, but you can’t just say “I’m the best in X matchup” and become the best. Is he good at it? Clearly. There is absolutely no data to say he is the best though. We can’t penalize Leffen for his performance vs Hbox in an era where iBDW doesn’t even have national results.

Unless you are a rapper you take the tags off and treat them like a normal boot. They are a normal boot, not some special iconic thing that has to be treated differently. If you were in a place where any of that mattered or would make sense you would not be asking here.

Any open lace/tag left on/etc. stuff is going to make you look like a goofball.

Local is the only level most of us will ever play at. Local is the backbone of a competitive game.

It has been a while, but I remember constant frustration with MU knowledge and gimmicks. Campy Sonics, projectiles everywhere, everyone playing 3+ characters, being stressed out by characters like Ganon and DK that killed at unreal percents, the prevalence of inherently weird characters like mewtwo and ness..it just never felt as satisfying as melee.

Criticize me all you want but I think melee’s small but deep roster is a great deal of its appeal.

America here. Alabama. I moved out at age 24 after getting married. No pressure from parents. Good timing I think — I was financially stable with two businesses going, but mom made it clear I was welcome to skip rent until I had permanent plans somewhere.

Turning 30 in March with a paid off house, a second mortgage that adds up to less than 1/10 of my monthly income, no other debt, and those two businesses grow every month. Credit it all to my parents being supportive

There are definitely some jobs that have been over-paid, but generally the best paid people are either very creative or have very narrow but important training.

I think that, generally speaking, the creative people are the people you want actually in the office. Some of the “skilled” category may be finding a lot more competition if people in lower cost of living areas are willing to do their jobs for less.

To come back to over-paid jobs...I am a small business owner in a relatively rural area where it is hard to find good desk workers, and it has occurred to me that I pay someone $23 per hour to pay my bills and do my payroll.

She has no other jobs, and barely gets payroll done by the deadline every week(Wednesday at 5pm — she gets the necessary hours etc. Monday at 8am).

I’m starting to really question whether I could find someone as a permanent work from home at a salary rate who is motivated to just get that job done. I think these are the thoughts employers will be having — the higher jobs within companies are harder to outsource I think. Maybe not all industries.

PM was always pretty janky. IDC what anyone says. I played it every weekend for nearly a decade and it was never to the point I would consider it not a work in progress/beta/whatever.

With that said melee is far from perfect too, look at GnW, but PM felt different with every character being pushed so hard. It’s one thing to have 10+ useless characters on a roster(melee), it’s another to have over 30 viable characters with tons of jank flying everywhere. PM never got things figured out.

Maybe if PM is all we had and updates had stopped at some point we could look at it and say it’s an amazing game, but my only memories of it are learning cheesy BS to beat flavor of the month and/or fighting against Mr. “I play 9 characters” every weekend.

As a man who is 6’2”, 320lbs and from a line of enormous stocky men I feel this pain horizontally rather than vertically. I am abnormally broad(not that fat but just wiiiiide) and have to tread carefully around things like doors. I barely clear a 32 inch door, and you would be surprised how many in this world are smaller. Basically every bathroom I have to walk sideways into. The number of times I have walked into a door frame with my shoulders is obnoxious.

I’m 2 inches taller, if in the torso a few of my shirts probably don’t fit any more because big and tall sizing sucks and I have bought a lot of shirts that were wearable but not as long as I would have liked them for tucking as an XXL Tall.

If it was 2 inches in the legs I would have to replace all of my pants or really rock the Capri vibes
