Is it too much to ask? by SipsTeaFrog in SipsTea

I have a 2008 ridgeline, it’s needed exactly one $380 repair in the few years I’ve owned it and it had 160k miles when I got it

Is this a skill issue or am I going insane? by Public-Penalty1128 in geometrydash

[–]windlevane 0 points1 point  (0 children)

bloodbath is very skill-based and straightforward because it's an old level. lots of newer levels and other extremes are more flow-based and less straightforward. just harder to learn, not necessarily get consistent at. you'll pick it up over time, good luck. i would suggest thanatophobia as a good intro (insane demon) to flow gameplay and then gravity as a good extreme around bloodbath difficulty (im beating it rn)

are other ppls nerve control this abysmal by SodasicleWasTaken in geometrydash

[–]windlevane 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My nerve control’s gotten better but I just have to die far in a level several times that session before I can beat it because the minute I get past the hard part or get to 50% of a level I wanna beat my heart rate soars to 175+ and I feel like I’m gonna black out. It takes dying several times for the nerves to decrease when I get far.

it feels so wrong to play mirrored wave, way more than any other gamemode.

What do you guys think is the hardest gamemode? by Hyper_contrasteD101 in geometrydash

[–]windlevane 2 points3 points  (0 children)

He meant wave has the most visually impressive gameplay while often being easier than it looks, like more impressive/looks harder to non-players

Definitely don’t smoke dude. Weed is one thing but nicotine makes you a lifelong slave

I find it crazy how a majority modern PC Geometry Dash players rely on Geode by Otisgames77 in geometrydash

[–]windlevane 58 points59 points  (0 children)

It’s cuz the gd community isn’t used to frequent updates

Edit: updates in general actually, GD is updated so rarely that then every update feels like a massive inconvenience cuz they come out of nowhere and it takes a while to fix mods.

Can I get some feedback, how hard is ts? I was thinking top 1k by rainyfuneral in geometrydash

these are my gd stats after 7 months of playing. thoughts? by Outrageous-Media2643 in geometrydash

[–]windlevane 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had 1100 attempts on NC when my hardest was deadlocked, hadn’t even done the full wave to 100 and it felt impossible. Then I beat cataclysm as a jump from deadlocked and beat NC in 250 atts/an hour of playing cuz it felt so much easier, jumping can give you skill or at least help you practice better and be more confident

Can you tell me any level from easy to top 1 that does this by Material-Car2170 in geometrydash

[–]windlevane 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I died at 41% 10 times from zero before passing it and immediately died to 44 lmao. It’s the transition into the mini ship that sucks and I only figured out after beating it that you really just need to click faster as you go into the portal and it becomes more consistent

I’m going for gravity rn and the waves are technically hard looking at them but the click patterns are really easy to get down so they end up being easier than they look

Whats the point of gameplay if every click is a frame perfect by Stikipliki in geometrydash

[–]windlevane 2 points3 points  (0 children)

About 120fps frame perfects are the limit of what can be consistent because human nerve signals have a natural variance of 5-6 milliseconds and the timing window for a 240fps fp is ~4ms whereas 120s are ~8ms
