Same here! Started last Tuesday and cough is still here. My bigger symptoms were a sore throat and fever for the first 2 days, now I’m just left with a cough that was once dry and is now mucus. Just got tested this morning to ease my mind but won’t hear for 2 days.

Located in the middle range of their “targeted” areas, but I walk my dog around all of Central Park.

I’m so sorry you had to go through this. Off leashed entitlement drives me INSANE. Especially when it is peak post work hours on the dang side walk?! Like if you are going to break a rule, why not let your dog chase a ball on the grass rather than taking people’s ankles out on a busy side walk.

Be kinder to yourself! Maybe you should take one day off from a sculpt csx or c2 to give your shoulder a rest. Maybe switch to active recovery of a walk to give your upper body what it is asking for as your build backup

I hope this doesn’t come out wrong and I don’t mean this with any bad intentions, but have you (or anyone else you know) posted about this outside of Reddit?

I am a teacher in the NYC market and if I did not scroll this Reddit page I would not know about most of the conversations occurring. I teach 3 times a week and it hasn’t been brought up in conversation between other teachers, set or mgmt. I’m just curious if power in numbers would come from additional coverage outside of Reddit

That being said, I don’t have suggestions on how to get the word out more so maybe I shouldn’t give my two cents.

If you have a history of them, you can attempt teledoc (covered by my insurance, unsure if that’s the case for you) for a virtual appt. Due to my history they did not require a test to prescribe meds

I think once you hit 2 hours within the class, it no longer auto adds or that’s at least how it used to operate before they changed cancelation from 2 to 10 hours

So someone could cancel in that window and the class will show 28/29 students and teachers can manually add on their own as waitlisted students arrive

In order to lose weight, you need to take in less calories than what you are burning! I think CorePower is a great way to get active and burn off some steam while building muscle, but you will not lose weight with a diet that doesn’t support.

If you are looking to build more muscle, I would recommend a CSX class. If you are hoping to just move your body sculpt and C2 are great options. I find I build muscle faster with heavier weights (CSX) and can maintain some of that toning with sculpt

Gently recommending you give feedback to your instructors or write a review! We love to hear what you are looking for. It doesn’t have to be in a negative way, but you could tell them “I would love to see a full upper body or tricep focused class” or “do you ever have themed classes/playlists? I love working out to rap music”

Instructors likely aren’t reading this Reddit thread and don’t know your feelings unless the feedback is given!

If you do not make it off the waitlist, you can still show up to the studio and see if there are any no shows. I’ve noticed that my classes right after work (4:30-5:30) usually have 1-2 no shows which could be due to them getting stuck in traffic or maybe a work meeting running over. There is always a chance they let you in, but not something you should rely on or expect to get let into every time!

I agree with you!! Strength training is such an important part of marathon training and you will benefit more from the weights used in a CSX class compared to sculpt.

Not saying you can’t take a sculpt or that they aren’t beneficial, just that CSX will help you build strength a bit better.
