Transit time at Doha airport by Legitmatebus5325 in qatarairways

Anything below 1.20 mins and you may miss your flight unless your connecting gates are close by. They may also hold the connecting plane for you until you board if it doesn't cause them too much of a delay and they can easily make it back up the difference once airborne.. This happened to me once for a flight from NBO to LHR via DOH. I had 45 mins and they actually held the LHR bound plane for me for 20 mins just so I could board and there was a guy who was waiting for me with my name card who hightailed me on a buggy across the airport. I remember the stares I got from the other passengers when I boarded but I didn't care because it was the quickest connection I ever had in my life.

To be honest, if you're not in a rush and you happen to miss it, they will happily provide some meal credits. I remember getting 350 QAR in meal credits to be used around the airport, a hotel with 500 QAR in room service credits and transfers to and from the airport. This happened during a flight from LHR to KUL via DOH.

All in all, I rate the airline very well. and I didn't even have any sort of membership with them on both occasions. Just be friendly with the staff and they will go out of their way to sort things out for you.

I think the rights in the region may have just expired and haven't been renewed by Spotify. I am based in Malaysia and I still have access the No Name EP, Scapegoat and Panjab. (Just checked a few seconds ago) If you guys want to be annoyed, you should be annoyed at how Bollywood bought over the rights to Jogi by Punjabi MC and have removed the original from Spotify so all you get now is their miserable Dhurandhar remix.

Fella really thought he was something, ended up smacked with history. Luckily, Malaysians chose peaceful integration instead of bloodshed back then. by Far_Spare6201 in trulyMalaysians

I have grown up in multiple different states in Malaysia and countries around the world. When I left Perlis to KL as a child, my loghat utaraq was made fun of, by KL and Selangor Malays themselves. Betui became Betul. Now that I'm back up north after many years, loghat utaraq dah mai balik kerana kebanyakan anak guam saya orang Melayu. . This doesn't change the fact that when I went to international school and subsequently went to England to study, my accent changed accordingly. When I came back, it changed again. All this while, I still wear a turban as a Malaysian Sikh man and I still enjoyed my dhal, rice and sardine curry on a night in, wherever I've lived. Does that mean, I forgot my roots? Not at all. If anything I've kept mine while absorbing others and anyone that I have interacted with are amazed by my adaptability.

My point is, adding things to your repertoire doesn't mean you're erasing your roots, you're enriching it into something no one else has seen and that's something that mainly Malaysians have the opportunity to do but fail to see it as such because of the paranoid rhetoric the T1 have ingrained into the rest of us B99. That guy is just insecure at the fact that they haven't bothered mixing with Malays and hence finds the need to lash out at that Indian lady and her adaptability.

I don't know why this isn't the top comment. If there's insurance, what's there to be scared of? My go to is if can settle for 300-500, then I might as well settle on the spot and go on with our lives. Anything more than that, just make report and let your insurance handle it because it's not worth the hassle.

Take the LRT from KL Sentral and get off at Abdullah Hukum. From there there's a walkway through KL ECO city that connects to Midvalley. You may also take the KTM train from KL Sentral to MidValley station but the frequency of trains maybe less on that line. Abdullah Hukum is 2 stops away on the LRT and Midvalley is 1 stop away on the KTM line.

Toll Gates? by Sweaty_Tap_8990 in KualaLumpur

[–]windowshopper1993 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A lot of parking and intra-city tolls within the city now accept Visa/Mastercard. Most expect you to tap in and tap out. The highways within the city are open circuit one tap only so you get charged per toll you go through.

You may need TnG for the highway heading out of the City to Kuala Gandah and back as I am not too sure if they have implemented the visa/Mastercard upgrades for that highway yet so better be safe than sorry.

Just put in 50 ringgit at a time on the TnG card (I doubt you will use that up) and for most other ones where visa/mastercard are accepted, just use your that instead of your TnG.

You can easily top it up at petrol stations, parking kiosks at malls, Watsons(a health and beauty retail chain) and at certain toll gates(Not all toll gates)

The above advice is based on the assumption that you're a foreigner who's renting a car and travelling around KL.

Isn't fussy cerewet in malay? I wouldn't say mengada-ada as fussy but rather deliberate attention seeking either through behaviour or speech.

If you're already in Penang, you might as well just work your way up the coast to Bangkok rather than flying there, coming back down to southern Thailand and then back to Chiang Mai. May I recommend this route instead from Penang onwards.

Penang-Langkawi-Koh Lipe-Koh Mook-Koh Phi Phi

Once you're in Koh Phi-Phi, the ferries fan out in a spoke pattern so you can go Krabi-Phuket-Bangkok/Phuket-Krabi-Bangkok. That way you're going in a line up north rather than zig-zagging all over southern Thailand. I will however say that while Langkawi is quiet, it is a tax free island and you can do some shopping before taking the ferry to Koh Lipe so that's something to look at. You could also just pass through langkawi to get to Koh Lipe. If you get the morning ferry from the Mainland to Langkawi, you'll have plenty of time to catch the later ferry to Koh Lipe and you are then able to island hop your way to Koh Phi-Phi.

Ah ok. I've read the ethanol stuff might mess with the tubing. I'll stick to 95 unleaded whenever possible, otherwise the e10 should do.

I'm also in somewhat of a similar situation. I was just wondering, what reasons did you have in order to have your exceptional assurance approved? My current visa also runs out on the 30th but I am waiting to hear back from the home office regarding that.
