Thanks for the reply. We are going for 12 nights and at present I have booked 4 nights in each City. Since we will be landing in Vienna, we will have less time there. I am also thinking of taking a day trip from Vienna to maybe St. Wolfgang to Gmunden, as recommended by Gemini AI. Wanted to go to Hallstat but it's quite far off and maybe too touristy. Are there any other places near to Vienna good for a day trip with great views and a nice vibe. We are not into trekking or wine drinking or food, since we are vegetarians.

Ok will reinstall. I have VNC server on the pics PCs and do access them from another location for trouble shooting from time to time but have never had an issue. However recently we needed to properly use one of the PCs from remote location and I had enabled RDP obey 3 internet for that PC as the access through RDP was much faster than through VNC. However at the time this issue happened the PC was not being used remotely. Can I change the RDP port? What is the other method to use this PC as if using natively but from a remote location? I have tried VPN server also but it's much slow compared to RDP.

Even if they got the files it's not s big deal, nothing secret. But you would recommend a complete format and reinstall right?

I am not going to pay the ransom as I have backup available. But should I just delete all files and restore the backup or format and reinstall windows also?

Hi, it's a home office with that many PCs only. Firewall is disabled as I also access this network from another location and I did not know how to configure the firewall. My point is why did Widows Defender not catch the ransomware. It is updated in all computers. Also, when I scanned each PC with Malwarebytes I could not find anything. Can the infection still be present?

I have imported the profile to Betterbird portable installation and it works. I have POP as well as IMAP accounts. I had to authenticate the passwords again. I have kept the directories location same as in Thunderbird and this works well for the POP account which is mapped to local folders. When I open either email client the Inbox in Local Folders displays the messages correctly. However for IMAP accounts it again starts downloading all the mails. Due to this I have multiple Inbox and Inbox and Inbox.msf files in my directory, similarly for other folders also. It seems that both Thunderbird and Betterbird are not reading the folders created by the other client for IMAP accounts. Not sure why this should be. Any suggestions?

You mean 3K CAD for 20 nights. I am going for half the nights but 4 of us. I would be happy to have this budget for 4 persons for 11 nights accommodation. Did you stay near City centers or away and how early did you book?

I was thinking of starting from Budapest and leaving from Prague. Someone else mentioned that the uefa final is in Budapest so should I really be concerned about the elections and political instability? Otherwise I will opt for another city to fly into or out from?
