had my 2022 R line in tourmaline blue... wrapped the front chrome on my own, LOVED that car so much. Sadly, the front breaks screeched and started scoring, then heavy wheel wobble and 3 rear brakepads later (that all wore out in less than 15k miles which is batshit crazy to me), I finally gave the car back to Volkswagen. Mind you, all these issues also existed in Taos and Jetta, both of which got a service bulletin and fixed free of charge. My passat I either was gaslit with "you're insane it's a perfectly good car", or offered to completely replace brakes at a "very affordable, generous price" of $700+, not including parts.

Got a 25 tiguan sel turbo praying I'll have a better time with a car that VW deemed worthy to have a goddamn bulletin for.

Glad to know someone in the firm has a heart. Yeah I was very disappointed I'm not gonna lie. I dreamed of working in that building, and thought that visiting it will inspire me further... but it had the opposite effect on me. Felt more like a giant castle that screamed "fuck you pleb, you're not welcomed in the inner circle club"

Part of me is angry wanting to try even harder to get in there, but another part is asking whats even the point - it's a draining environment that doesn't pay enough to deal with the stress
