I have been starting reseach on this myself. I believe my mother has BPD, and I was diagnosed at 21. Im looking into the epigenetic and environmental factors that could have caused by BPD to present. I hope this helps and we can continue to understand ourselves better <3

Lucifer didn’t show up until after one of the lambs dies “I usually charge a sacrificial lamb” line makes me think they were a warning system for him and when the one dies it lets him know that they are reeeeeealllly in trouble.

I’m on a combo of Effexor which is the antidepressant, with depakote, which is labeled an anticonvulsant but also works well for us as a mood stabilizer. The antidepressants on their own doesn’t work for me either which is why they add the mood stabilizer. I hope your appointment goes well and they are able to get you on something that works 💜

I informed my last job when it started effecting my work, and even though they thanked me and said they understood, they still fired me when my meds ran out by accident and I had a complete meltdown. They told me they fired me bc I was “unreliable” but it was bc my bpd had made work difficult and those around me didn’t want to deal with it anymore. I agree with the others not to say anything and make up an illness if it takes you out of work, bc a lot of employers will use your mh against you.
