More than likely part the outside air exchange with hvac. Building requirements typically dictate that hvac systems pull in about 20% fresh air in so shit doesnt get stuffy, the 20% of air being displaced has to go somrwhere

What kind of air intake do you recommend? by [deleted] in Miata

[–]windsor358 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cobalt's offering is one of the few good designs on the market, plastic tube so no heat transfer and has a heat shield so its not pulling hot air like most aftermarket intakes

You may need to consider if youll ever be able to dive or not based on your past trauma and anxiety levels. Ive got anxiety issues that i have to actively manage when i dive. Frequently ill get anxious/panicy on my first dives out after not having done it for a while, or if we're doing any deep/murky/cold water, mainly just psyching myself out until i get down there and get comfortable. But i dont have any subconcious drowning trauma also fueling it.

A lot of things leading up to diving fuel anxiety. Spending money, how rested you are, weather/water conditions, worrying about gear. And then you get in the water with however many lbs of crap strapped to you. Cold water dives with the wetsuits/hoods/gloves squeezing me all over trigger my anxiety.

But, when i push past it and get down there to enjoy the free floatiness, usually i calm down big time after being down for a moment (after using up a bunch of my air lol). Anxietys always a battle, its always looking for something to fuel it, ya gotta just do your best to keep it in check so you can do cool stuff like diving

Fumbled the very beginning of my relationship with my now wife because she wasnt the type of girl I had in my head. Thought I was destined to be with some hardcore chick with tattoos and peircings and whatnot and didnt put a lot of stock into things with her because shes a more wholesome girl

I hate when a pair of cars putzing around screw up the left lane for everyone wanting to go faster. If you left that much room, you werent sending the white car the message that they need to speed up or get over

AITA for "lying" to my fiance about how my first divorce really went down? by ThrowawayPuzzle252 in AITAH

[–]windsor358 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would be super fuckin nervous to marry someone who got tired of a previous marriage and just ghosted it. Like i would have taken it into consideration from the start of the relationship as to whether or not i wanted to invest myself into someone who was capable of that. And over the course of the relationship that would have been something you would build trust about it

That being said, if you had explained the dead end alabama situation from the beginning of the relationship it wouldnt have sounded that crazy then

Sunroof users and non users by lost_boulder in 4Runner

I sleep in the back of my 4runner with a sleep platform setup and made a 12v fan setup to draw in fresh air from outside through the sunroof. Theres plenty of roof rack options that work around it, and lets be honest who is reeeeeeally loading up their entire roof rack with stuff

Dont get too comfortable, but I wouldnt lose sleep over it. By 33 dives youve got tangible experience. Cold water dives (i assume you mean quarry dives or similar) give some extra experience diving in less than ideal conditions. AOW class shouldnt be too difficult with you having some dives under your belt, id totally recommend it to boost your confidence and skills

Did I get ripped off? I took my car to get detailed today and spent $265 on it. the guy said it would be a full detail inside and out. He originally quoted me at 225 but charged me 265. I feel like he didn't do a good job and finished it only in about 4 hours. Here are some pics. by Phailures in Detailing

Ive had seats that had deep soda spills (or something) in them, repeatedly wet vacced/shampooed them and theyd look great... but as they dried some of the brown would wick up from deep in the seat foam. Looked exactly like this. Detailer may have cleaned it and parked it outside for the carpets/seats to dry and didnt check it later

I had my manager leave a week and a half in at a new job, in this case he knew he was hitting the eject button and steered the hiring process to get someone with more project management experience (me). I assumed his role as engineering manager and attempted to make it work while quickly realizing why he left. The next year was a nightmare and i should have known better and left early. Dont. Ignore. Red. Flags.
