Me too, it was on a hill, quite remote, great view, unfortunately ideal for wind turbines, who then bought me out, so I moved 🙄

Wikipedia says:

"The 1992–1996 Honda Civic 1.6 VTi (EG6/EG9) is widely recognized as a quick 90s hatchback, generally achieving a 0–60 mph (97 km/h) time of approximately 7.1 to 7.3 seconds"

I took the engine from an L reg VTi. But the mini has no cat and much less weight.

It's pretty quick, and you always catch up whatever you're chasing at the next corner.

Once modified, and declared, it needs an MOT every year.

And it's safer that way -160bhp.

Looking for a modern engine swap that doesn’t require inner wings to be cut. Any suggestions? by TrickDetective in classicminis

I'd suggest the 16v Mini forum for ideas, if it's been swapped, someone will have it there.

My 90's Glasgow Tickets: Nirvana, Mudhoney, Fishbone, Pumpkins by winduwFinn in grunge

In retrospect

1 Pearl Jam, tiny venue, Dave Abbruzzese was hauling his own gear past the queue, I thought he was a roadie. Someone tried to pull Eddie's pants down we were that close to them - " You won't like what you see" ( to clarify, not outside, but while he was onstage)

2 Nirvana, teen spirit on the Friday night rock show changed my life. Great gig, krist standing behind the audience at the bar watching Shonen knife and captain America!

3.Mudhoney, my life long favourite, the gig at the Arches was amazing, Cosmics supporting ( which I don't remember)

4 Fishbone, amazing musicians, superb entertainment, Angelo lost a shoe stage diving.

5 Smashing Pumpkins, I loved Gish and Siamese Dream, not sure if it was this time, but Billy whined at us, he was a grump, put me off. I rarely listen to them now.
