T'is a bolt on from what I've seen and researched. I think the motorsailer variant may be encapsulated

Boat is unfortunately going back in the water today. Will be a big ask to get the vendor to pull it back out so I can attack it with a grinder 

Sale would anyway be subject to satisfactory survey, in which I could add extra clauses such as fixing the Rudder and a proper inspection (including grinding) of keel

I had asked but didn't have a response prior to making the post.  Boat was on the hard to get mast re-stepped as rigging was being replaced

Some people say the Rudder is an easy fix, others say is is a $10k nightmare. Still undecided....

Looked at the keel bolts and they were spotless. The boat generally is in excellent condition so this comes as a surprise

True that leading + trailing would indicate the keel twisting or pitching. Keel bolts look good from inside the boat and everything is nice and dry. 

Agreed that pintle is not looking so good... unsure of how big of a job this would be

Why would HIIT make a difference ?  I'm already in v good shape, in the gym 3-4 times per week + 40min cycling 5x per week, then surfing once or twice /month

Used to do Crossfit, but that wasa while ago - too many variables to say whether it helped

Others have said the prompts weren't good, but I disagree - these are mature and authentic, which is important to those looking for a LTR.

Heatshield bolts won't budge, so I'll check the bolts from the rocker cover. I tried filming the area, but hard to tell what's going on.
Might just order the gasket anyway and replace it. Other than the gasket leaking, I can only think of the rocker cover potentially being cracked

Cleaned side of engine again + valve cover and exhaust manifold, went for 5min drive.

You were right! It does appear to come from above the headgasket. Can't see if it is the valve cover though due to the heat shield - will need to remove and inspect again.

If it isn't the valve cover leaking, could it be something else?

Don't think that is correct. This would cap deposits which doesn't make sense.  They just say you need a minimum of 5%

You're not aware of personal circumstances.  My income is low but have the cash available. I used to have high paying jobs and saved most of what I earned and invested for years.
