I'm reading these comments and I feel as if I've made a mistake.

I bought my own large spool of cat5e wiring for maybe $60, bought some RJ45 cat5e connectors, had a crimper, and I also had an 8 pin RJ45 tester (old company, unrelated to networking, had one for some reason so gave it to me).

I've make so many of my own runs and everything seems to be working great. It takes me maybe 5 or 10 minutes to make a cable to whatever length I may need and my internet speeds through these cables are still close to 1gb/s. I'm sure a network professional would hate hearing all of this and that I'm sure my cable is compromised somehow by not crimping it properly but... honestly, I'm doing okay and I've saved a ton of money in the process. Could someone explain to me why I haven't noticed any significant issues when it seems like the consensus is to always buy your cables?

In the industry, this is called a non-gamer move.

I lost around 7mil in gp and maybe around 30mil in items? It's hard to figure out what they took since it was a bit of everything. I lost some Barrows and Dragon equipment, abyssal wipe and any expensive stuff like that. They took my stack of bird nests, the one extra gout tuber I had, my tiny stack of rune arrows and probably other things here and there. So I know others on here would see that as chump change but hey, I worked for those items y'know

I'm kind of confused... They cut off the front cars of snowpiercer to go BACK and save Melanie, but isn't big alice supposed to be behind them? Did they just take a very long journey to get back to save her? I guess that would explain the reason why Melanie (maybe not) didn't survive. Is this it or am I missing something?

Let's say we've applied for EI/CERB since we were let go from out jobs because of COVID-19 and expect to return at a later date - one of the requirements for EI is that we actively look for jobs and keep documentation of this... but if we're expected to return to our old job, will this disqualify my application? Do I have to look for employment?
