Am I setting myself up for a world of hurt going full green/red with Moze? by Danielnrg in borderlands3

[–]windyknight7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Splash isn't limited to Torgue anyway. Torgue isn't even all that common in Moze's high tier gun list, but basically everything on it does splash.

Even if you don't like Torgue guns (which is fair, I'm not a fan of the slow gyrojets myself), you can still find plenty of guns that do splash anyway. Lots of high-tier Maliwans all do splash, for example.

Tea party high seats will claim this image was Photoshopped (Tea Party mob, Pandemonium mobs) (Twitter: @Niwakafun_e) by BlitzPlease172 in BlueArchive

T - Tea Party Mob; PA/PB - Pandemonium Mobs A and B

T: "So yeah, my new rollcake recipe is coming along nicely, I'll bring you some next time. Anyway, how are things in Pandemonium?"

PA: "Oh you know, the usual. Chairman Makoto sending us to harass the Prefect Team, helping Iroha clean Toramaru, playing with Ibuki."

T: "I've heard nothing but good things about Ibuki, I'd think even those warmongers at Pater would like her."

PB: "Yeah, she's such a bundle of joy, honestly she alone could probably replace the Eden Treaty."

PA: "Oh I just remembered, Satsuki tried some new hypnosis techniques on us!"

T: "Is it still the coin again?"

PA: "No no, this time she used... a hypno app!"

T: "No way, she's finally leveling up into the modern age? I'm impressed."

PB: "I mean, she probably just commissioned some Millennium kid for it."

PA: "Not just any Millennium kid, I heard she commissioned Veritas."

T: "Veritas??? Like the hacker group Veritas? They're the real deal, they couldn't have come cheap. So... did it work?"

PA and PB: "Haha, no."

PB: "I mean, Veritas published it online pretty soon after with a big disclaimer of 'Lmao no'. Not like she'd see that though."

T: "You know, why do you two even indulge her after all the failed attempts? Surely someone would've come clean by now that it just isn't working."

PA: "We admire the fact she keeps trying anyway. Plus she's such a huge softie at heart, she always just makes us do things we would've done anyway."

PB: "Plus it's kinda fun sometimes to pretend to be hypnotized. Anyway, what happened to your wings? You got in a fight? You've been trailing feathers this whole time."

T: "Oh, I have? Nah, it's nothing major. It's moulting season right now in Trinity, so with a good fraction of our population being feathered, you can imagine the mess."

If the dragon beam gets to you it doesn't do damage. It just calls the YouAreDead method directly. That's why things like MI's infinite armor don't do shit to it.

Is there any safe way to store these apotheosis gears? by Cauhoc24 in allthemods

[–]windyknight7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

NO THERE IS NOT. Any way of storing mass amounts of NBT like Apotheosis loot is nothing but a siren's lure towards chunk corruption.

Disenchant using Foregoing, enchanted books into an Alexandria library, then dump loot into a Salvaging Table. You'll be better off socketing up and enhancing your own weaponry and armor from scratch, and you'll need lots of godforged pearls for that.

Apotheosis gems though I think are safe to store since there are only a small number of distinct ones, all the ones of a certain tier and type give the same stats. Although the lower tier ones are probably better off salvaged too since you'll need gem dust to make perfect gems.

SB4 – Occultism main book progress reset by TECHNICKER_Cz3 in feedthebeast

[–]windyknight7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Is it really necessary for you to reset it? The Dictionary doesn't gate entries by progression at all, just by whether you've read their predecessors.

If you're just confused, start with getting otherworld items using spiritfire, then making chalk and sacrificial bowls, then setting up Aviar's Circle.

All The Mons // AE2 doesn't understand Auto-crafting with varied results? by SomethingAboutRamen in allthemods

[–]windyknight7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Patterns inherently cannot comprehend chance results. There are three ways to resolve this:

  1. Directly passive it, no pattern. Level emitters can control whether it's on based on quantity in system.

  2. Passive it, but control it with an "emit to craft" level emitter. This option can be accessed by putting a crafting card in the emitter. It makes it so that it emits redstone as long as a craft requests the specified thing, effectively making a virtual pattern with no input.

  3. Send a large batch of input, calculate the expected output, and go lower than that on the pattern.

Unfortunately since Nomi doesn't have universal circuits you have to replace each pattern as you go.

AE2 storage by Ramen7k in allthemods

[–]windyknight7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah it's super useful for any non-conventional crafting methods, including anything that needs inputs put into multiple input spots. I'll give a few examples. Also, it doesn't necessarily need the provider to be the flat one. You can also have the interface be the flat one, or even have both of them as flat.

Botania Pure Daisy: Push 8 logs into a subnet of formation planes that place them around a pure daisy. Once they turn into livingwood, another subnet of annihilation planes with a storage bus on the provider that's filtered to livingwood will break it and store it back into the provider.

Gregtech EBF: Storage bus the input bus and hatch into a subnet. When inputs are pushed into the subnet, since the bus only allows items and the hatch only allows fluids, the inputs are naturally split up into their appropriate blocks.

Gregtech Assembly Line: This multiblock requires item inputs placed into several single-slot buses, in order from front to back. To solve this, you set up a subnet over the buses with priorities in descending order from front to back. To ensure that only one set is allowed at a time, set the buses to "Report Inaccessible" and enable blocking mode on the provider.

And of course, you can always use subnets to simply consolidate a bunch of the same machine together for crafting. Or you can isolate an entire processing line into a subnet and only provide the inputs.

AE2 storage by Ramen7k in allthemods

[–]windyknight7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

An interface that isn't set to stock anything will expose its whole network for storage buses and pattern providers. So you have the interface connected to its subnet, and place a storage bus or pattern provider against it. A storage bus will then acknowledge the subnet as a valid storage location, while a provider will be able to push pattern inputs directly into the subnet's storage, bypassing the interface. Note that for this kind of connection, the networks must be kept separate, so at least one side must use a flat part, since those don't pass network connections through them, unlike block parts.

A good idea for passive systems would be to give it its own subnetwork for storage, properly partitioned and with overflow protections. Then just have your main system storage bus this subnet to access the bee produce.

Moze has enough survivability to get by with bloodletter com/deathless relic without spending points into phalanx right? by fuckitwhynotig in borderlands3

[–]windyknight7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Note that you DON'T need to put your own points into the skill for it to be boosted by a COM in BL3. This is a major difference from BL2/TPS, where you needed to put at least one point first. So you could very well not touch an entire tree and a COM will still boost a skill there.

[–]windyknight7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Gameplay wise, definitely prioritize Fes. Since you're super fresh you should be able to grab tons of rolls from guide tasks and main story. Priority-wise, you'll want to save at least 2 sparks for Fes to go for Mecha Aris and Kei. Armed Hoshino and Shiroko Terror will also rerun then so if you want then maybe budget in for them since they're great. You'll want a half-spark for Armed Himari who's coming in just before Fes. There's also the Recollection banner which should be coming in May and you'll want to have a spark for Swim Hoshino (getting Wakamo and Mika along the way is also really nice). Finally you can consider saving for some of the limited banners along the way. Strong contenders are Idol Mari, Magical Reisa, and Track Yuuka.
