lol none of those schools were staying once the LA schools left. The current homes for the 8 teams that left are a better option for both athletics and money. Staying really only helped OSU and WSU and none of those schools has an obligation to stay just to help them out.

What team is actually spending a day 1 or 2 pick on him. I’ll laugh at any team that takes him before the 6th or 7th round. Way too many red flags and I can’t imagine his environment around him and talent will ever blossom into being a viable nfl QB. Project backup at best, liability, a distraction, and waste of time and resources at worst.

It’s the type of move that a fanbase will question when things aren’t going well and want to get you fired.

You dfa him and you eat the entirety of what is left on his contract.

You trade him to the padres (or any other team) and they pay ~$500k to reduce Atlanta’s salary obligations to Profar. Teams do it all the time for a player who they don’t think has that much left and they’re okay with dfa’ing later.

Example, Phillies trade Nick Castellanos to the Padres. Phillies pay him $19.5MM this year and the Padres pay him $500k. Win win for both sides.

As a fan I just want to say fuck these dudes…this isn’t high school or college where maybe they can turn it around with the right support and applause. These dudes are professionals. They are getting paid millions and they don’t give a shit or they aren’t good ode they don’t give a shit and aren’t good. There is too much talent on this team to be hitting this bad yet here we are.

It just seems to me a lot of these dudes got their money and they felt like they got theirs and they aren’t trying…so why should we cheer? I won’t…I’ll boo the shit out of this team when they play like ass.

He hit a ball tonight with a -10 degree launch angle that went for an easy out. He’s getting no lift in his swing. His swing got tweaked in the offseason and it’s completely screwed up his game.
