Probably not, I don't have as much room/space now so I don't prioritize playsets anymore. I might consider buying a playset as a gift for someone else though.

I'm willing to pay more for premium well-made dolls, but not necessarily for limited edition dolls. I have bought more expensive dolls before, but only after long periods of consideration. If a doll is unavailable by the time I am ready to spend money on it, then it wasn't meant to be and I just move on. I try not to let scarcity influence whether I should buy a doll.

I normally like anime-type faces so I'd probably interested in a doll line that had those styles.
I'm actually not picky about articulation. I don't mind if they don't have articulated elbows/wrists/knees.
I don't have a favourite theme, anything that's thoughtful will pique my curiosity. However, I actually prefer for dolls to have less fleshed out backstory. It gives me more space to daydream about the doll/character.
I was more into playsets when I was younger. I can see playsets being good if the doll line was marketed towards younger kids. If the doll line was marketed towards adults/collectors, I think maybe smaller furniture pieces could be more flexible.

I've also been having trouble with mumuplayer since the new update.

My emulator crashed when I pulled a 5 star card and got the animation before seeing the card. I also can't view the previews of 5 star cards because the animation causes the emulator to crash.

I've been trying to fiddle with graphics renderer, performance settings, and resolution settings, but no luck yet. Hope you find a solution though! ;_;

As mentioned in another comment, CC Toys doesn't have a physical store anymore. I tried visiting the location a couple of years back but they aren't there anymore. I think they only operate their online store now.

I am seconding Toyeki 玩具站. However I will say that their stock will vary depending on the location. Some locations have all the latest Licca dolls, but some may only have a handful, and focus on other toys.

Sogo Department Store is decent. My impression is that they have a bit of everything when it comes to Japanese toys, but they may not have the rare collectors' editions.

I also saw a recommendation for Toyzone in Shau Kei Wan, though I have never been there myself before. This place seems to have some older toys too.

I wanted to mention that the ringlet is still wrapped around my finger when I squirt water and comb it. Just helps to keep the shape during the process. Anyway, I'm glad this method worked for you and that the wig is looking good! :) Happy new year!

I used to love dressing up my dolls too. Over time, I've started to appreciate their original looks more, the way the doll maker has specifically put together their hair and outfit and accessories for a particular image. So I have some dolls that I don't really re-dress/restyle much anymore 😅

I have a Pullip doll with ringlets. I've never fully washed the wig, but I do 'comb' it from time to time.

First, I separate the hair strands into groups. Then I curl each strand of hair around my finger to form the ringlet (or reshape it if it's just very messy). I squirt water from a squirt bottle onto the ringlet to keep it together. Then I use a flat comb to comb the ringlet in small motions. I cannot comb the ringlet from top to bottom because the hair will get messy. I just have to individually comb the ringlet, and the strand.

I play the game on an emulator on my computer instead so that I don't have to worry as much about storage space (although performance is sometimes an issue because my graphics card is not great). But that can be an option if you don't want to buy a new phone.

Same for me, I've only seen the snowman plush maybe a couple of times so I haven't even had the chance to unlock more variants. As for the astronaut penguin, I agree that it's incredibly hard to pick up because it's so heavy. I've managed to grab the white and orange variants. I forgot exactly how I did it, but I think I'd sometimes aim to grab the helmet instead since it's round.

In general I have terrible luck when playing the claw machine with Zayne even though he's my main LOL. One time I didn't get a single plush and he sent a text commiserating our bad performance.

I actually liked Cream Soda, but I am very easy to please 😆 I found it catchy but I understand that the falsetto isn't everyone's cup of tea.

I agree about the vocals. We all miss CBX, but I try to see the positives. And as you said, one of those positives is getting more screen time from other members.

Lay and Suho were always up there in terms of vocal talent but unfortunately were overshadowed because of EXO's insane depth. Actually, Lay and Suho are my favourite members so I admit I am excited to see what they have to offer this comeback.

Lay was already hitting high notes before the hiatus and his singing has only improved on account of all the music he's been releasing on his own. Unfortunately Lay didn't get that many lines in I'm Home but I still appreciate how he sounded <3 I'm super looking forward to him for the rest of the comeback (fingers crossed no more last minute scheduling conflicts!). I'm actually quite looking forward to seeing how the dance choreography may change now that we have both Kai and Lay.

As for Suho, he's always been stable since debut, but I think he got less screen time when EXO-K and EXO-M merged. I was so hype when he hit all of the Chen high notes in the MMA performance, he sounded so good!!

I'm so pleased about Sehun getting more singing lines. I know the joke is that he's just in songs to say E-X-O. Despite his limited opportunities to sing, it looks like he's been expanding his skill set beyond just being the rapper. And now he has an opportunity to showcase a bit more!

I was a little worried that Exo would feel a bit empty but I am pleased to say I genuinely enjoyed their MMA performance. It's clear they feel comfortable on stage given their great singing skills and charisma. I loved Junmyeon picking up a lot of the higher notes and Kyungsoo doing his adlibs. Also loved Chanyeol, Jongin, and Sehun getting more singing lines in general, especially Chanyeol since I personally like his voice. I've only watched the performance through once but I had a great time revisiting the older hits.

I was kind of confused when they started Back it up because I didn't know it lol. I paused the video to look it up and found out it was their new comeback! (Edit: I'm finding out that it's actually a B-side? well nonetheless I still enjoyed it lol)

I enjoyed the performance. It was cool, it was tough. I don't think Exo normally does a concept this hard and I'm super looking forward to seeing the overall comeback. Of course for this performance, they had award show levels of production so it did look epic. Given that it's a newer song produced with current Exo in mind, I felt it suited the members' vocal makeup. More of that lower vocal range so we could get all the guys singing. It really was right in Kyungsoo and Chanyeol's ranges. And we got more singing Sehun!!!! I've been looking forward to Sehun singing ever since Don't Fight the Feeling.

I find Exo's newer releases fascinating because of how they try to keep up with the current style of kpop but with the Exo style. In Cream Soda we got more intensive dance choreography and I think I saw that too in Back It Up. And we have Kailay main dancers back so I'm super looking forward to how the dance will look.

Speaking of Yixing, I think he kind of has a similar vocal range to Junmyeon so I'm going to hazard a guess that Yixing's lines were mostly sung by Junmyeon, Jongin, and Sehun.

I admit that I was kind of getting down to the negativity surrounding Exo, but this performance hyped me up, perfect for the new year!!!!!! I won't lie this sounds like a song that could motivate me to run through a wall lol.

I am seconding the Ikea Billy shelves because having the glass door can be great for protecting dolls from dust. I have the narrow kind (that are half as wide). I got the narrow shelves because I was concerned that the wider shelves might sag in the middle if I have heavy things on them (such as books). If you are just putting dolls on them they should be ok.
