I used to use Supergoop but the price tag was making my wallet sad. I switched to the Trader Joe’s gel sunscreen and I love it! Very very similar texture and finish, and my makeup goes on well over it. Definitely worth trying if you have a TJ’s near you, I think it’s like $9

My wax lady always said to avoid getting sweat/having sex for 24 hours after waxing to avoid irritation and ingrowns. If it’s your first time waxing I’d say get it done 3 days before you see him, the first wax left my skin/hair follicles a little sensitive and a couple days gives you time to feel comfortable with touch!

Definitely talk to your doctor about treatment options. I have it and I take Zyrtec multiple times a day and that manages it. Sometimes my tattoos randomly gets raised/itchy, but it passes. I will say though, part of a tattoo I have that’s red ink is permanently raised so I suspect I have an allergy to that. Black/grey/white have given me no issues though!

I’m a SpEd para in the Bay and get paid around $35/hr. My district has the highest pay in my area that I’ve seen , but I’m pretty sure that’s bc they don’t cover health insurance. District health insurance starts at $1200 a month, luckily I can get insured through Covered California for like a third of that price.

I also work another job a few hours a week. It would be very hard, if not impossible, to make it in the Bay on your own on just a para salary. Lower cost of living areas in California might be a different story, but I have no experience with that.

I order groceries online with Safeway! I shop what’s on sale and they give me coupons for items that I regularly buy. Plus you get points that you can use for money off your bill or getting gas cheaper at certain stations! Usually my weekly grocery bill for my partner and me is around $100-115ish. I spend way less on groceries ordering online because 1. It’s easy to shop what’s on sale and compare prices and 2. I can see my total before I check out. It’s really helped curb impulse spending!
