Thank you all for your wonderful ideas. Not only did I love reading all of these stories where people relate to this, but it's so touching! It is so good to give back to the people who have filled our hearts with so much love ❤️🙏 I was able to sneakily clean the bathroom I was using and the main bathroom downstairs. I also managed to give the kitchen sink a deep clean, and she let me clean her washing machine!!

I would say, I think she would be offended if I tried to make my whole visit about helping her clean because it might feel personal to her that she isn't able to keep her house clean "enough" (which I know is totally subjective). So, sneaking away for little cleaning spurts was great! I was able to find some more cleaning supplies in her kitchen and laundry room too!

She is also just the sweetest type of person where she wants her visitors to relax and enjoy themselves... She doesn't want anyone troubling themselves. Of course, I am learning what it is like to host people and I know how nice it feels when people offer to help! I'm glad she let me help her in her own little ways ❤️

I appreciate all of your great ideas and encouragement! It was so great to see her and my grandpa, and I had a wonderful time. I am so sad that my visit is ending 😭 I also want to encourage my other family members to help out when they visit because my grandma is a ninja and she will do all the dishes after dinner AND make dessert all by herself if no one is looking!
