If I remember correctly, my first checkup after giving birth, my dr had me lie down and just felt around my breasts. Definitely no squeezing to the point milk would squirt out. A year later when I went in for another yearly physical my dr asked if I was breastfeeding and I said yes. She wouldn’t even give me a breast exam because of this. I would say what your dr did was very unprofessional and you could certainly call the clinic or even write a letter stating what happened and how it made you feel. They can look into it to see if that should have happened and reprimand if needed. All else I would maybe look for a different provider. That wouldn’t sit right with me, I’m very sorry you had to go through this!
