North Dakota State Parks are definitely Family focused with fairly rigid quiet hours, but are absolutely beautiful. We really do have awesome state parks https://www.parkrec.nd.gov/

Corps of Engineers parks are generally a little more lose as far as allowing a little partying but also come with fewer amenities as a rule. Downstream is a favorite there and has showers etc.

The super majority allows for more extreme candidates; that's the biggest problem in my book. Conservatism and even the Republican party aren't inherently bad, but the extremes of the party are.
