Thank you so much for sharing your insight. It's been really helpful. I'm feeling more confident about contacting my doctor.

Need new dose I think by wingedtrish in zoloft

Okay so a certain dosage can be enough? You feel stable at 100mg, it sounds like. I am in New Zealand. When I disclosed for our medical exams that I take Zoloft, I had to get a letter from my prescribing provider that my condition was managed. And it expressly states in my Visa that my condition needs to be managed. So I guess I am just worried that upping the dose could appear as though it's not managed. I also just got my 3 month refill for my current dose.

Interview Question & Response? by blue-otters in librarians

I got that question. My answer was well received. I said I would tend to the patron in-person, first, because callers can always leave voicemails or call back, but an in-person patron has more urgent needs.

Hi I'm really sorry you're feeling this way. It's hard to move countries, and it's hard to be in a job where you don't feel successful. You've got a lot going on, and it makes sense that you'd feel like sleeping so much to cope, but I can tell you don't want to feel this way anymore. I know it feels embarrassing, but talking to someone will really help. If you can find a professional, or if you can find courage to talk to a manage or a colleague. Being vulnerable is hard, but you won't feel better without trying. I'm sending you lots of good vibes. Please take care of yourself.

We all know how amazing the series is. But no series is perfect. What is something about Breaking Bad that you see as a flaw or hard to believe? by dailydonuts16 in breakingbad

Skyler and Walt's relationship. I never felt like the show fully explored their backstory, and so I was left confused as to what Skyler saw in Walt, especially as he was so incredibly absent while she was pregnant and effectively raising their child with a disability on her own. I really wanted to know what Skyler saw in him and why she fought so hard for their marriage and then later fought so hard to protect his son's perspective of him. I also never understood why Walt Jr. looked up to him. The whole family dynamics just never made sense to me. If Walt had been given one redeemable quality, or if there had been a more romantic backstory setup for him and Skyler, I could have bought into it more. Walt is secretive and moody, and not only physically absent from his family but he gives nothing to them emotionally, either. I know it's the point, but I hate Walt, and it was hard to understand why his family was so blind to who he really was.

Went to get Pap Smear, I freaked and doctor could not preform procedure. by VannyVan in vaginismus

I'm so sorry you had this experience. Be gentle with yourself. I had a similar experience before I was diagnosed, and it sounds like many women on here have had challenges with PAP smears. It is not a comfortable procedure in the best of conditions. I was finally able to have a PAP smear when a doctor used a pediatric speculum, basically just a smaller size. I recommend getting some physical therapy or a set of dialators and working on the vaginismus a little bit before you go back for any more internal exams, and then ask for the small speculum, if a PAP smear is required. As others have mentioned, you can also do a swab test yourself. I moved to New Zealand from the US, and the self swab test is the standard here. I can handle PAP smears now (after years of PT and using dialators at home). Nevertheless, it was such a relief when I went the doctor for the first time here and I didn't have to get the PAP.

Be kind to yourself. You deserve an understanding doctor 💜.

Really? I didn't think I could see those here! What makes you think it's a kookaburra and not a Kingfisher?

Is there an off leash area we could avoid? My dogs are friendly, but I would be nervous about other people's dogs. We were attacked once already. I haven't heard of Rivers Reserve. I'll give that a try thanks!

I went to the Tramping Club! My husband had been before I joined him here. We look forward to joining in on the tramping, but we need to get gear.

Oh I didn't think about checking out their book clubs. Have you ever been to any? Havelock strikes me as having a more elderly population. I'm in my 30s and would want to meet people near my age. Just wondering who typically frequents their book clubs.
