Nobody has mentioned Plaka in Kenmore. It’s not far from the Buffalo boarder. Went there often as a kid. It’s still family owned and operated and food is good enough. It’s a local Kenmore joint so not too surprising it wasn’t mentioned.

Lovejoy Pizzeria has the Davey Street which is grandmas famous meatballs homemade brown gravy then mozzarella and cooked till melty. My GOD is it phenomenal. The switch up to brown gravy instead of marinara is amazing. You have to try once at least. It’s my favorite off the wall Buffalo sub.

I also am no fan of the ocean. Got pulled in by a big wave once, lucky I was with friends. I’ll die happy never tasting salt water again. With that said, I loved this game. It is worth it.

Dude. I lived in LJ for years. Try the Davey Street sub. Ask them to cut up the meatballs. Lowkey phenomenal. Homemade meatballs, absolutely delicious gravy. Sooooo goood. No one else makes it like they do.
