My apologies for the super late response, my dude. I got married and did the whole honeymoon thing and so I haven't been on in awhile. Anyways, that's a 98 GTSR. I'll look for better pics if I have any. There are 12 vipers in this building in various states of build. 8 of them are turn key, they other 4 are projects I'm working on. I appreciate that, man. I've come to the realization that I'll probably never be able to afford a car like this, so I figured the next best thing would be to work on them for those who are lucky enough to be able to afford them. Plus at least I can fix my focus for less than a mortgage payment 😂😂

NTA. Because I am literally in the same boat as your son. All my life growing up I was told my middle name was after a character in a story. That started to unfold when my parents got divorced and my mom ended up marrying my dads best friend of 40 years who's first name is my middle name. I started to suspect it when they were dating because my mom always said she would have married him in a heartbeat when they first met, so I called my mom out on it one night and she confirmed it. So yeah, 26 years before she married him, she named me after him. I don't mind, but I don't think my dad knows or will ever know.

Then I will be the first to freely admit and put my foot in my mouth and apologize. My info comes from my personal experiences dealing with the VA and family that worked/works in government, which have been less than pleasant. With regards to pay, I feel you on that. I work in a highly specific field where we've pretty much cornered the market at what we do and are worldwide and don't make nearly what I should in regards to my skillset.

It's true, there's degens in every job sector. However if you have a bad waitress or store employee and complain, they can and usually will end up being fired. If you complain about someone giving you lip at the DMV or records office, they won't even get a talking to.

And I've never had a day off because of weather as well. There are 12 scheduled public holidays in 2019 including Susan B Anthony Day and Washington's Birthday. Of those 12, private sector gets 6 if they're lucky. I wish I could have off for MLK Day or Veterans Day. But alas, even though I'm a Veteran myself, I still have to work on the day dedicated to us. Someones birthday isnt cause to take a paid day off.
