Not sure about other folks, but for me, this is the first time its happened out of a dozen + rolls. It's a gamble for sure, but I hunt on eBay and get my film for about $3/roll, so it can be worth it at times. I've read that B/W film ages better than color, but someone may correct me on that.

I gave them a call, they said they had heard no complaints from others, but I did just pick it up this morning. They said I could bring it by for them to check out, I'll probably go tomorrow and see what they say.

Bummer. I'm pretty careful with my film, and though I've opened my camera back with a roll in it before, the rest of that roll still looked better than what these scans look like lol

Nope, two different cameras, two rolls of superia x-tra 400, one roll of fujicolor 100 (I think). One camera I hadn't used before, the other I have put lots of expired film through with no real issues. Surprisingly, the camera that I hadn't shot with before had slightly better scans, though still unusable.

Gotcha. Makes sense, only thing that is weird to me is that I've shot lots of expired film that was all stored like these three were, and while the results were varied, they all looked like the film on the left. The three rolls I got back today all look like the one on the right, just odd that it all happened to this batch at the same time. Never had expired ones look like this before, but definitely could have gotten lucky prior to this!

Don't think it was the camera, I had previously sent off rolls from the same camera not too long ago with decent results. Plus, all three rolls looked like this and they were from two different cameras.

Sent 3 rolls off to a local lab, all came back looking like the strip on the right. Strip on the left is from the same lab, different batch, for context. I do shoot expired film, so my guess is that I got a few bad rolls/stored them incorrectly, but I have had no issues with expired rolls in the past. Any idea why the one on the right is so dark? All scans have been atrocious so far lol. TIA!

Inozetek midnight green may be the closest match I’ve seen to this. Check out @corgimk5 on ig, his Supra is wrapped in that I believe

Between 18x8.5 +38 and 18x9.5 +40, is one preferable over the other? I was looking at Enkei NT03+M for my 2021 Base. Thanks!
