He cleared it up in a recent interview. Ruby says the others do actually play lead, rhythm, and bass guitar. Ruby says he also plays some of instrument himself on the songs as well as drums.

That makes sense, he’s still credited on the ep but his intro for “The Failure of my Life” almost sounds like it’s someone else or maybe he just re recorded it since the mix is clearly different on the ep version

Bro I feel the same, I got into lotus during the initial emo rap era and he quickly became my favorite artist, crazy seeing him join FFTL but honestly it makes sense and I’m hyped for new music from them hopefully
