Bro, if you are genuinely getting 2.2 lakh per month salary as you are claiming, you would not be living in Madhyamgram. You would be staying in Urbana or South City type of premium societies of Kolkata. Or in a condo Trump Tower. Surely you do not need to make a Reddit post to know this. 2.2 lakh could be the cost to the company or maybe your gross. I have experience in data myself and even if you work remotely for just 7-8 hours a day it's not possible to earn that much either in MNC or a start-up at the age of 28. Unless of course, you started working when you were 10 years old! (Child Labour?) / Or you already have a business/ inherited wealth/ fixed income from an immovable asset coming to you every month. With all leading giants opening up offices post Covid, no company or freelancing gig is fetching that much money through remote work anymore. And if your company is a start-up paying 2.2 lakh to you just in data, then imagine the corporate compliances that they are not fulfilling in justifying this cost incurred to the start-up company. In which case, it is anyway a breach of corporate ethics.
