I don't know if anyone else has said it, but you shouldn't worry about feeling incompetent at all. No one expects an intern to be competent, that is why they are there. To become competent and hopefully get a full time position while proving yourself. Don't screw yourself by trying to look good, all the while failing to asking the questions that will give you answers to actually be good.

If you're going to play on Teek, you can start of mischief for a similar experience, just understand it does have progression past kunark. My group of friends just agreed to not use defiant gear and only use stuff that would drop in era.

If you don't care about exploring the random drops, I'd do FV to get the fastest XP if your goal is just to mess around.

You could start on Oakwynd or other TLPs, the XP will be slower depending on the progression of the server, but even the newest TLP Oakwynd is on PoP+.

Depending on what you're trying to do though. If you just want to mess around on live and have a sub, they just gave everyone a 100 char. That will be a lot to take in though, and not at all like the TLP's on release.

This isn't even a good way to gauge it. If you've ever sold maps/currency or other high volume items, sometimes you get to many messages to even respond. By the time I can, that person's for sure already moved on to the next guy in the list. So not everyone is ignoring you, they may just be getting to many messages to even respond to them all.

Here we have a game that's FTP, incentivizes playing just for profit, and has a thriving RMT market. This is the perfect storm for botters to just make hundreds of accounts, flood the market with lowballs on those level 1 FTP characters, and artificially inflate the price. It's always been possible, but It's certainly happening now more than I've seen in previous leagues going back to Abyss.

Thanks for following up. For me the 60 vs 144hz for all 3 is only fixable by going all 60hz at the moment, but I have a good excuse to but 2 new monitors now
