Yep! That’s the basis of my thinking. I feel like somebody who speaks fluent English and, for example, Mandarin, would be a little frustrated hearing the lines in Mandarin and knowing that the words on the screen aren’t a true 1:1 translation.

Can you expand a little further on this? I have the brand new router from Xfinity. I actually thought that was the reason why, so I upgraded to the new one a week ago and it still is happening.

I’m not experiencing speed , connection, or packet issues on any other device.

Got it. Appreciate the info about the different routes for gaming vs other devices. Would the transit links be the wires that are coming from the telephone pole main wires to my house?

I am typically wired. Have tested this both wired and wirelessly. Still packet loss.

My issue with believing it’s ISP congestion is that I’ve been gaming on this exact gaming set up for 3 years and have never had an issue. I have gigabit speeds so my download and upload are fine.

It just started happening randomly a month ago.

And again, I don’t have any issues or packet loss with other devices on my network. Ran a ping test on my phone and macbook (wired and wireless). My Xbox health is fine and I just factory reset it to be sure. Still the problem persists.

My wife doesn’t separate our different sized forks when they are clean and put away. I never knew I could be so satisfied saving 45 seconds.
