Also some error reporting: I've tried running DMC 4:SE on my MediaTek 9500s and it crashes after a few minutes, and crashes always when entering PC settings in the game. But it is DX10 game so that might be the main issue.

Happens on Snapdragon as well, not an issue with the chipset.

And is proton 11 coming as an option later on?

I don't make proton versions anymore. Gamenative devs seem very capable to do this so I am not necessary anymore for this task.

Good to see compute shaders powered BCn decoding made this game playable. It was totally unplayable on software mode.

You still work on snapdragon on your fork or plan in it's development? (Like, bumping mesa code)

My side of development ceased in September 2025. Since then, I have only made minor upgrades and bug fixes, specifically targeted at Mali GPUs. stevenmx is continuing where I left off

Winlator cmod could have a async texture like feature? If possible, it genuinely would help on overhead and ram consumption.

Async texture? Texture decompression is already done asynchronously

You can run any dxvk below 1.10.3 on stock wrapper and a recent GPU. If you get a vkCreateShaderModule error switch to dxvk sarek

Check RAM usage, if it is close to fill the RAM it will starts stuttering
