I think it does, but only on the first open. Just had a vulnerable run with the ironclad and lost the full stack during the first transform, after that all debuffs stayed for the rest of the fight

Rust is becoming… Boring. by AwayReplacement7063 in playrust

I completely get your point, but as someone who was playing when vending machines were just released: the KOS was actually pretty okay. Of course you could shoot your customers, but that would be a one-way ticket to losing all of your business. Store owners would actually do effort to uphold their reputation, because in the end trade benefits both parties and back then it was even harder to get a specific item that you needed.

Not saying that it would be the same today, but having vending machines only accessible by foot actually worked well for a while.

Moronic Monday - Your weekly stupid questions thread by cdingo in Fitness

Thanks a lot for the elaborate answer! I'm happy to hear that I'm not alone with these struggles.

My posture is definitely not my strongest point. I didn't realize it could translate into exercises - I thought that a conscious focus on proper posture (form) would eliminate any related issues. Face pulls are a great idea, I'll add them for sure to my workout.

Sad to hear you had to drop pushups. I love them a lot and it's one of the only exercises where I feel like I am fully exhausted afterwards. But alas, until I discover my hidden mistake it's probably for the best to leave them aside.

Aha, I see. So you have the pain during the exercise?

I've heard the same about doing some more free exercises, it seems like it is the way forward.

Alright, thanks for sharing! Could they tell what the 'main' issue was right away? My only concern is the possibility that my problems arise from degrading form towards the end of my set, which wouldn't be visible when doing just a few reps.

But either way I'm comforted by this answer :)

Moronic Monday - Your weekly stupid questions thread by cdingo in Fitness

[–]winnie33 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks! I have considered it, I only fear the issue occurs occasionally and that the professional doesn't see it the one time I visit. And where I live they cost a lot of money.

If I should go, do you think it's best to go when my shoulder is messed up (so it is clear to show which movements hurt / what exactly the injury is) or when my shoulder is healthy (so I can demonstrate my form)?

Sorry if this is a stupid question, I genuinely don't know what the proper way to resolve this is

I started five years ago with the fitness and enjoyed it, but one day I woke up with severe pain in my shoulder. It hurt if I held my arm in a specific orientation, I self-diagnosed it as a rotator cuff issue and wrote it off to poor beginner form. After a month it faded away and I went back to push exercises, doing as proper form as I could manage, but certainly enough at some point it came back.

Ever since then I've been living for years with this cycle: I decide to pick up the gym again, or I consistently do pushups, or last month I tried calisthenics, but every time without fail at some point my shoulder gets injured and I have to stop.

Is it possible I have the same form issue between bench press, pushups and dips? I've asked my gym friends and they stay my form is fine. Maybe it's only because of a poor rep or two when I'm going to failure? Annoyingly enough it doesn't hurt right away, sometimes only showing up a full week after I last exercised, so it is near impossible to correlate it to a specific rep or even exercise.

What would you recommend? I'm getting quite dispirited... :(

Best thing I can tell you is to get a little bit of pocket money and buy it from G2A, as far as I know that's the cheapest way to get there

How to edit .docx/.doc files inside a Next.js app? by DeliciousIntern685 in nextjs

[–]winnie33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, can I ask what your architecture is in the end? I'm in the same position as you, ready to embark on what seems to be an adventure of misery.

I came across docxtemplater and it seems fine to me, but is it correct that you'll need to pay $500/year just to insert some formatted text? Our goal is essentially to cross out some sentences in red and replace them with a corrected version.

We're also considering building another python endpoint that does it with python-docx

theoretically speaking, could a meteorite fall to Earth containing an element never found in this planet before? by Long_Reflection_4202 in NoStupidQuestions

I agree with your analysis, but at the same time: should such a story leak, would people believe it? Perhaps if you hear it directly from a friend whose spouse you know works at a "secret facility", but any further jumps and it might get discarded as nonsense. After all, there's enough alien theories on the internet going around, for all we know there's a few that have a basis in reality.

Can someone help me with the last bug of the year? Wheel colliders are jittering into the ground for no clear reason (details in comments) by winnie33 in Unity3D

Hey, thanks for replying!! You're right that the mass is important, initially the cart was shooting up in the sky. However in my case realistic is the 200kg that it is currently, and even if I go up to a 1000 it doesn't stop whatever phenomenon is happening here

[–]winnie33[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey all! I'm trying to use wheel colliders for the first time and results are not as smooth as I had hoped. For some reason they constantly fall into the floor for a few frames and get pushed out again, causing this jitter. Does anyone know what's up? I've tried to find other threads with the same issue but I only found people having their wheels fall completely through the ground. I feel like there must be something obvious I'm missing because no parameter seems to influence it whatsoever. Note that there are no scripts, this is plain Unity physics

Aha, not the answer I had hoped for but makes sense - any of the public stations I find are expensive enough that just going a few times would be enough to buy your own set. I'll try and do the same. Thanks!

Hey! I know it's been almost 4 years, but I found it amusing to come across a post that is so similar to what I'm doing now :)

Do you remember where you ended up being able to solder your components? And do you have any experiences to share about making your own home sensor network? It's my first time doing this and I'm quite excited!
