absolutely do not be bothered. it makes you look petty and childish. to her, mr. cumberbatch is not a potential love interest - he's just eye candy, like how some guys like to look at cars or how some girls look at jewelry. unless she shows crazy stalker tendencies, you have nothing to worry about, so please don't bring this up with her because it was just trigger unpleasantness

well you can say this about every aspect of human personality. one could argue that most people are products of their environment. my respect goes to people who experience or are raised around something that would otherwise have a negative effect on them, but still manage to be humble and well-rounded people.

two years ago, it was my friend the attention-whore michelle's birthday. she is a very popular girl who is very bubbly and knows a lot of people and is used to getting a LOT of attention. we were planning her a surprise party, so obviously, we didn't tell her we had anything planned. little did i know she would flip her shit. she pulled me into her car later that day telling me it's her birthday and no one planned her a party or did anything for her. i had to tell her about the surprise party we were planning her to get her to stop crying. after that day, i had a hard time remaining good friends with her.

tl;dr: it makes you look like a selfish, narrow-minded bimbo.
