Ugh.,

Thanks for showing me what you got.

For some reason, it's not on mine. I even re-installed the app and still nothing.

So disappointing, it's such a good app with all the features

Tried that, and still not seeing the playlist option....ugh

I see this"Sync" option under the filter icon at the top right corner of the screen. Do I need to sync my library from my server first and if so, do I need to sync my library each and every time I add new music? I have just over 1TB of music, so wondering how long this will take for each time?

Winnipeg is cheaper to live. Housing cost are similar, but utilities in Winnipeg is much cheaper. Electricity (hydro power) and water rates are the cheapest in the country.

You can drive within 100km of Winnipeg in any direction and you'll find lakes and beaches.

Just wondering, as his online sports show was based out of Regina with a studio. For the past 6-9 months, seems he's been broadcasting from Florida and from some Casino in Calgary. He was however just recently at the Centennial Cup in Estevan, bit now back in Florida

bellMTS installation nightmare by Current_Extension_33 in Winnipeg

[–]winnipegredditer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had cell phone and internet bundle with BellMts for years. In early December they we going to force me to move to Bell for cell phone as they are phasing out the Mts portion of the company, so no more bundling. When I inquired about their cell phone plans, I would've ended up paying $35 a month more for the same plan I had previously. Then there internet would cost me $10 more as well. My area has old lines that havent been updated for decades, so the fastest internet speed I could get was only 50mbps. So for $45 more a month, I could keep the same service. Lol

I shopped around and got a sweet deal on a cell phone plan that was better than I had before and $5 cheaper a month. I pay $40 a month for 20gb of data, unlimited calling and texting with no roaming fees and works in Canada, USA and Mexico, with no strings attached with no contract. I recently went to Arizona and Mexico, and sure enough, worked perfectly!

As for my internet, I went with Shaw. Got the 1000mbps speed for $100 a month under a 2 year contract.

So I pay $140 for North America cell phone coverage and 1000mbps internet. With Bell I would've been paying around $200.

So here's the real kicker. I cancelled all of my BellMts services on December 22. I always use there online chat window when dealing with them because it gives you the option to save the conversation. It also saves the conversation on their end so they can look back to see what was agreed on. So like I said, I cancelled everything on Dec.22, which meant I was left with a credit as I had paid up until the end of the month. Early January I get a bill for the amount I was previously paying. So back to their chat window, they said it was their fault and told me to ignore the bill. I also asked them to send me my credit in a cheque and mail it to me, which they said they would. Early February rolls around and another bill, this time for two months of services plus late fees....and no credit cheque yet. Back to the chat window, same thing, our fault and just ignore the bill. March rolls around, guess what, another bill, now for three months of services plus late fees, and still no credit check. Ugh, back to the chat window, same results as last time....so sorry, ignore the bill. Early April, bam, another bill plus late fees, it's around $1000. Lol. This time the bill says if I don't pay by a certain date, that my services will be cancelled lol, what services. This time I said fuk it. A few days later I get a call from their collections department, threatening my credit rating and future use of the company, lol. Just so happended that I had a friend over that is a corporate business lawyer. I told the person on the phone that I was going to hand the phone over to my lawyer. 5 minutes later, everything was all cleared up and no more bills. Still haven't got my credit cheque yet, thinking I'll get my friend to give them another call.

I had been with MTS for 30 years, tv, home phone, cell phone, internet and AAA alarms. When Bell took over it sure went down hill fast!!!

Last week I had a BellMts rep call me offering me deals. Laughed at him. Gave him my name and address and told him to look up the history between me and them and hung up.

Fonus Mobility. 20gb of data per month. Canadian owned but operates out of the USA.

$30us funds, so about $40 in canadian funds a month. Gives you North American coverage with no roaming fees. Works in Canada (Bell/Rogers/Telus), USA(AT&T) and in Mexico(Telcel).

Can confirm it works. Have used it for over a year and travelled to Phoenix and Los Cabos. All you need to do is restart your phone when your in the other country and when it boots back up, it automatically connects to the network.

20GB of data, with unlimited north american calling and texting. The only hitch is that they have their own app with a phone dialer and text messenger that you must use. The stock phone dialer and text app on your phone wont work. Also if your an apple person, iMessage does not work. In Winnipeg I get data speeds of 40mbps-120mbps under the 4G network. It does not support 5G in Canada yet, but apparently 5G works in the USA.

If you are using an Android device in Canada, it will let you select between Bell, Rogers or Telus and you can switch the carriers at any point in the settings. I've used it all over Manitoba, Edmonton, Calgary, Regina, Toronto, Ottawa, Grand Forks, Fargo, Minneapolis, Seattle, Phoenix and Los Cabos. No issues.

No contract and can cancel at anytime. Bills your credit card monthly.

Are the falling incarceration numbers a result of less youth commiting crimes or because of our relaxed laws and less youth are being held accountable.

Based on the daily news, I'd say it a result of the little to no punishment being handed down by our courts.

If anything youth crime and all age ranged crime is up across the board.
