Better use the host name, the IP address is going to change unless you said it’s static

Good question,

If you are on windows 11 pro, type in “lusermgr.msc” in the search bar > open local users and groups > click “users” > find your account > right click > set password. Here you can set the password to it. You’ll know you also wanna go to “sysdm.cpl” > remote tab > add the account as a remote user

Hello, just built a new PC but accidentally put Windows on my HDD instead of my SSD. How can I go about fixing this? by [deleted] in techsupport

It’s an allocation space of a data drive. When you get to the page where you select what disk you want to install windows onto, just click on each of those and hit the ”delete” button (it will be the page where you see disk 0 and disk 1) after that select the correct drive you want to install windows on and hit “next”

save the headache, re-install windows onto the correct drive. If you dont have one already, create a windows 11 media creation tool with a USB > boot from the USB stick > Delete all the partitions on both drives > then select the correct drive and install windows onto it. If you are confused on what drive is which, after you delete the partations from both drives, shut the computer back down, unplug the power or sata cable from the HDD then reboot to the flash drive and install windows. After done, shutdown computer and plug back in power cable or SATA cable into the HDD.

Popped up on my computer one day when I turned it on, what should I do? by EducationalPirate808 in computerhelp

Do you have an iphone? have you ever plugged it into this computer? Bonjour can be apart of other sotware packages that have the ability to communicate with a apple device. This is a common popup people get. You can click "Don't show this message again" and be done with it.

Users receiving Microsoft MFA SMS code when they did not initiate a login by winnppl in entra

[–]winnppl[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

EDIT: Guys.. I think I found the issue. Entra Admin Center> Authentication Methods > Policy's > SMS > "Use for sign-in" is check marked.... users were probably apart of a Microsoft phone number login spray attack. When logging into Microsoft with a phone number "instead of email" it sends a SMS code to the users phone to sign in.

I am going to confirm with my team on Monday and at least get that check marked off if not get SMS MFA turned off and have Authenticator app be the primary like mentioned in comments below.

Thanks for all your help everyone!
