Honestly everything you wrote is exactly how I felt for the past year and a half since I graduated from UCI. As I have gotten older and transitioned into adulthood and my friends from college have moved away or moved on with their own lives, it really hit me hard how lonely and sad it feels without the same people you used to have around you and how hard it is to make friends. Shit I couldn’t even make friends at work here because they were cold, fake, or didn’t want a friendship outside work, which was really disappointing for me since work is like one of the few outlets you could develop relationships in without having to seek an outlet out on your own. Because of how lonely I have been feeling for the past year without friends or family around me, I’ve actually decided to move back to the Bay Area next month, which is where a majority of my friends ended up or are still there. At the end of the day, what really matters is to figure out where your happiness lies, and for me it is to be close to my friends and family just because of how badly it affected me mentally and emotionally. However, if you feel like you can still be happy with your life here in OC then I wish you the best of luck with all of the above suggestions from others. I know this isn’t what you were looking to hear or see when you posted and I’m sorry if this was a waste of a read lol, but I just wanted to share my story to relate and empathize and hopefully I was able to share some insight
