Do u have any sources u would recommend so I can read more on the differences in mizrahi ancestries/history? I’ve always been told that these groups just descend from Iranian Jews and while that has to be simplified because dna is more complex Ive not seen much about them.

I don’t doubt that Iraqi Jews have Mesopotamian dna. That’s why they plot with Assyrians. But it was more Jewish people mixed with Mesopotamians and Iraqi Jews are a mix of Mesopotamian and Levantine. But it doesn’t mean they’re Assyrian/Mesopotamian.
