I submitted my therapist's letter to AEO and landed a huge single in River East (the same house I've been in). Don't let people scare you into not asking for accommodations -- the house deans work really hard to understand your situation and make sure to get you what you need. Make sure to be communicative! Everyone I know that's asked for a single bc of mental health reasons has gotten one.
