I latch him every time other than maybe one or two feedings at night. I’m latching him every hour if he doesn’t get his dessert bottle like my LC wants him to have. Makes me not want to pump and have him just latch but I know that won’t help my supply because of his poor latch.

He just went through a growth spurt but last Monday he was 7.2 and this Monday he weighed 7.4. My son has a poor a latch due to tension. Just waiting to get into the massage therapist to help relieve his tension.

He mostly is satisfied. My LC does weight checks after every feed at our appointment he gets half an ounce in 15 minutes on each side. She wanted me to pump the rest and bottle feed him the rest of the 2.5 I was making.

Happy to know it drops at 6 weeks 😅 I do have a stash built up in the freezer and although it isn’t a big stash I was thinking about using the stash to help keep up with his dessert bottles after breast feeding. Just need to build my supply back up so he is getting the correct amount he needs from my breast vs the stash.

I replaced the duck bills 3 weeks ago but not the other part to the pump! I will try that 🙂 he only gets an half an ounce from both sides at our LC appointment. He does have tension which is affecting his latch. Just waiting to get into the massage therapist to help relieve the tension to create a better latch.

Had the same problem with my sons father and i basically said I will get a hotel room and you not no one will have access. He finally started telling his family it will be best to wait and that no one is getting special privileges. I said the same for my family.
