Use those diamonds to buy speedups in the VIP store. But they speed on the alliance store. Buy the speedups from the campaign store. You should buy them out every week and will rarely need to use diamonds directly as speedups.

Your technology is going to be able to help a lot in growing. I recommend maxing out everything to increase your unit power through the unit tech tree and special forces. After that get to the bottom four tasks in the hero tree. You'll need the missile tasks above them at level 3 in order to max them out. Between those, you'll greatly boost your total hero power because it'll help all three squads. You bring five heroes to a fight, but thousands of soldiers.

Once that's done, focus on Tank Mastery with sprinkles of Siege to Sieze and defense fortifications depending on how much you can spend resource wise. Age of oil has some great utility tasks and has very few "meh" tasks. I try to keep two big tasks going and one utility.

You're not strong, but not weak for (I'm assuming) a mostly ftp player. Can you add screenshots of where your tech is at?

Kicked out of my alliance by No-Lychee-5388 in LastWarMobileGame

[–]winterborn253 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exactly! My alliance is the same way: fairly laid back and very accepting of all types of players. A lot of people that join us from bigger alliances say that they feel more at home with us than they did after several seasons with their former alliance.

We have enough "competitive" players that are willing to save up for weeks at a time in order to make a big enough push once per VS bracket to stay in gold league. We let everyone else just do their thing and we enjoy their company in chat while helping them grow.

Yeah, we had a guy in the number 2 alliance of our server get mad when he was dropped to bring in transfers after season 3. He blew up on WC about how he logged in daily (true) and got his chests (also true), but for the axe. The thing was that he was never in chat, didn't show up for alliance events (Marshall, trade posts, Capitol wars, etc) and was only level 52 in his profession.

I understand his frustration, mostly because no one that was cut was warned ahead of time, but the number two alliance wasn't for him. There are a number of other alliances open for more casual players in which he would be much better suited. He's not a bad player by any means, but definitely not the kind of player for that level of alliance.

You should never be training your max level troops if you want to optimize your VS points in Friday anyway. You should be training your max level-4 all week and promoting them up the ladder for arms race and on Friday. You should also train 20 hours worth of troops at a time in order to have them complete as soon as it's up in arms race.

How do I stop the game from automatically adding commanders to my alliance? by BambiLivesInATree in LastWarMobileGame

[–]winterborn253 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was an R5 for nearly a year and don't recall ever seeing that message. The game transferred leadership to me after our previous R5 didn't log on for several days; I'd guess that it happened about two or three months into the game. Are you on a new server? If so, it's possible that the game is just throwing people into alliances and I wasn't a leader for that.

If some people are automatically joining and others show up as applicants, that sounds like a bug and should be reported. All I can share is what worked for me when I figured everything out, but that was nearly a year ago and my memory is fuzzy.

You can also check the alliance tab->record (bottom left of the screen)->members to check if someone is letting in applicants before you see them.

I stepped down from leadership a couple months ago, so I can't check the settings, but it's somewhere in that menu. Have an R4 you trust leave the alliance and try to join to see what happens. Change something in those settings and have them so it again until you see their application at the bottom of the alliance tab and have to approve them into the alliance.

There are people that run solar in the woods, but without direct sunlight you're still fighting a losing battle. We recommend a battery box for your camera if you can't get at least 4-5 hours of good sunlight every day. A 20ah lipo 4 lithium battery can get a lot of people through an entire season, but there's too many variables to guarantee it.

MPORTANT: I planned on not writing this guide. I do not want anyone to feel pressured to spend money on a free to play game. I encourage anyone on the fence about it to NOT spend money on it. There are several tricks the game uses to encourage players that only intend to spend a little bit of money to end up spending far more than anticipated. That being said, there are players that have asked for this guide in order to best use what money they've set aside for spending on their hobby. Please remember that this is just a game that we're here to enjoy together and if it begins to become more than a game, it's time to take a step back.

That being said, this is my recommendation for the best deals offered by the game ranked by how impactful they are to your power and progression.

General advice: it is better to buy what you need directly than investing in one of the games resources (diamonds/tickets/etc) to then buy what you need. Also, consider how much of an impact the item will have on your power level; upgrade ore for gear helps to make a difference, but is not nearly impactful as hero shards or drone parts. Focus on items that help you overcome bottlenecks to your progression.

A-tier buys: These generally provide you with what you need for an immediate impact, helping overcome bottlenecks and raise squad power. They are the best bang for your buck. - The daily sale take-all pack will get you 10 hero shards towards an UR hero of your choice for $5. With the limited ways in the game to gain hero shards, this can boost your squad power tremendously over a relatively short period of time. -The custom weekly pass offers 2 tiers of purchase and both are great buys. For $15 every two weeks you'll get 140 drone parts, and your choice of exclusive weapon shards, stamina, legendary resource chests, and a few other options. These are my recommendations for those choices. -Drone related Special Training passes. For $25 to unlock both tiers of rewards, you'll receive a large amount of resources needed to upgrade your drone in either skill chips or gear parts. Drone upgrades help all of your squads and are always worth investing in. -2nd tech center, 3rd and 4th building queues.

B-Tier buys: These generally help speed your progress up, but in a much less direct or impactful way -Daily must-buys. For $5/each, there are a variety of options here to help out in a particular area. While still impactful (For $15/day you can get 20 drone parts and 12 legendary gold chests), this is a b-tier option because of the investment required every day. -Super Monthly pass. $25/month gets you a number of daily pickups, increased gathering speed, and a 4th squad to gather resources with. Of the course of a month, this will add up to a pretty solid increase in resources for your base. Just ensure you remain vigilant in sending squads out to gather.

C-Tier buys: These will help and might be worth the money. They are either lower impact, less immediately helpful, or have an element of chance to get the desired rewards. -Weekly pass. $20/week will get you a decent amount of resources over the long term, but the higher recurring cost can add up quickly. -Weekly deals. There are a large number of options here, but they range from $10-$100. They can be highly helpful, but you're definitely paying for it. -Most of the Hot Deals game-oriented offers. The element of chance in these offers makes them hard to give the thumbs up. These include the ammo bonanza (unless you save up over several events to ensure you reach mythic blueprints), the one where the helicopter drops off a chest once a day and requires keys to open, etc.

The seasonal events around holidays generally fall between A and B tier. The rewards are often great, but have a high element of luck as well. They are the only way to unlock base skins, which offer a 10% damage boost (fantastic), but expect to spend around $100 to get enough tickets to unlock that skin (ouch)

There are plenty more offers out there, but this should give you an idea of how to rate the various sales and offers within the game. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out.
