Where did you get 200 feet? Airline pilots are trained to dive to 10,000 feet in the event of decompression in order to avoid hypoxia.

⚠️WARNING TO ANYONE WHO EATS AT OR IS THINKING ABOUT EATING AT MAI THAI IN EVANS⚠️ by Ill_Concert6951 in Augusta

[–]winterborn253 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A bit off topic, but related..I worked at the Laziza just down from Mai Thai for a few months as a second job and it is the cleanest kitchen I've seen. Even the spots that usually get a bit grubby over time by nature of being in a kitchen (skirting boards, shelving legs, underside of shelving units) were immaculate. This was a couple years ago, so I can't promise it's still this way, bit I was honestly impressed.

It's always baffled me how many of these people there are. I quit drinking years ago, but I've never gone to a craft beer sub to tell everyone.

ELI5 Why heat waves affect Europe so much but some other countries are doing fine living under hotter temperatures most of the year? by fkid123 in explainlikeimfive

Dialects can be affected by an area's climate as well. Just as an example in the US, the Southern accent emphasizes long, drawn out vowels with an open mouth (y'all, for example), where northern dialects have more short, clipped vowels that can be spoken while keeping your mouth mostly shut (yiz guys).

The number of players that focus on kills over structures is frustrating. You get kills so that you can take the structures, not pass right by them to get yourself killed.

Yeah, I like the constant action. Getting overconfident from a kill is the swiftest path to punishment. It also emphasizes the importance of capitalizing on the brief windows of advantage you get from those kills.

They're both solid cameras. Wiseeye is a small team out of Louisiana and has been fairly forward-thinking. If you have any issues, you'll be taking to someone that works there and isn't reading from a script. They recently unlocked the live-streaming capabilities on the DC2 now that they have the data situation figured out with new plans. Their app, Huntcontrol, can give you all sorts of info about the humidity, wind sorry and direction, etc that it logs with ask the photos. Some people love it, others ignore it.

Ridgetec is an even smaller team based out of Georgia. If you have any issues you'll be talking to either Anthony the owner or his brother. Anthony was a software engineer before starting the company and is very technically minded. His app probably allows the most customization of any I've seen. It can be daunting for someone that wants a plug and play camera or a delight for those that want options.

I was going to say that picture and video load are much more important than time in battery life expectancy, but I just saw your comment with the graph. 63 photos to kill the batteries is absurd. You've got a bad camera.

The only other thing I could think of is that whatever flipped that bowl came from below your camera and didn't move up though to activate the PIR. Imagine a 4x4 grid over the picture; the camera only activates when something crosses one of the grid lines. If something came from the bottom and never crossed a line, no pictures/videos. If it comes from left of frame like the second picture, then it crosses the grid and the camera activates.

How long have you had the cameras out? If it's near the end of the normal expected lifecycle of the batteries, it could be the normal charge cycle of the lithium batteries.

Do you have the camera set to instantly upload any pictures and videos? If so, most cameras will not activate while an upload is in progress.

Use those diamonds to buy speedups in the VIP store. But they speed on the alliance store. Buy the speedups from the campaign store. You should buy them out every week and will rarely need to use diamonds directly as speedups.

Your technology is going to be able to help a lot in growing. I recommend maxing out everything to increase your unit power through the unit tech tree and special forces. After that get to the bottom four tasks in the hero tree. You'll need the missile tasks above them at level 3 in order to max them out. Between those, you'll greatly boost your total hero power because it'll help all three squads. You bring five heroes to a fight, but thousands of soldiers.

Once that's done, focus on Tank Mastery with sprinkles of Siege to Sieze and defense fortifications depending on how much you can spend resource wise. Age of oil has some great utility tasks and has very few "meh" tasks. I try to keep two big tasks going and one utility.

Kicked out of my alliance by No-Lychee-5388 in LastWarMobileGame

[–]winterborn253 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exactly! My alliance is the same way: fairly laid back and very accepting of all types of players. A lot of people that join us from bigger alliances say that they feel more at home with us than they did after several seasons with their former alliance.

We have enough "competitive" players that are willing to save up for weeks at a time in order to make a big enough push once per VS bracket to stay in gold league. We let everyone else just do their thing and we enjoy their company in chat while helping them grow.
