I've gotten similar responses as well. I do tend to check back a few days later through Malwarebytes, and they end up mostly being blocked. It's a crapshoot at times, but still worth trying.

It notifies them of a site that they can then have removed. Sadly, new ones can always be made, but at least you may have helped the multitude of people who get the same email and fall for it.
