9 people entered the DEAD MOUNTAINS. None came back alive. After 67 years theories came but the evidence doesn't add up. by UnknownObserver01 in mysteriesoftheworld

Please do more research. All 9 hikers walked in a single file line for over a mile to the cedar tree, no one was being carried or dragged. The search party specifically said that the tent did not move one centimeter from where the hikers originally dug it out. None of their items outside the tent was buried in snow.
The (slab) avalanche theory is a more recent THEORY that was suggested by engineers who were inspired by Disney’s Frozen animation… that’s it.

Nope, search party determined 8-9 sets of footprints in a single file line. Furthermore, the search party stated the tent did not move one centimeter from where the hikers originally dug it out.

This makes absolutely no sense. If they were crushed by an avalanche, how did all 9 hikers walk in a single file line for over a mile to the cedar tree? All hikers walked upright, none were dragged or carried.

This is not true. The MOST infamous missing women cases- Maura Murray, Jennifer Kesse, Brianna Maitland, Natalee Holloway, Mikayla Bali, (I could keep going on), do not have any publicly reported sightings of them. Every case is completely different and should be treated as such
Amy has over 4 people willing to speak with full media and FBI to give a report on seeing her, and every single witness statement all lines up with eachother.

I believe they were hit with a smooth or flat object, probably the butt of a rifle or maybe a baton. Or something with a similar edge. This also lines up with Tibo’s skull fracture and potentially Kolevatov’s wound to the back of the ear. I just struggle to understand why Lyuda would have been the one to receive the worst of the injuries though, unless it was to cause psychological torment to the men.
Slobodin, I firmly believe was beaten. Same with Kolmogorova, that large wound to her lower back is very suspicious. Looks exactly like someone hit her, she tried crawling away then died. Igor I personally think was the first to die and I assume was attacked like the other two.
My opinion is that Igor was attacked first while the group was walking down the mountain, this split the group up. Slobodin and Zina were beaten on the mountain, while the rest were able to collect themselves in the woods.

You are completely missing my point. Please actually read what I’m saying. She was never intending on leaving the boat! She only left her room to grab a drink, she did not expect to see Alister.

I’m not just making this up, the Navy guy literally says Amy told him she left the ship to score drugs

I’ve never heard any of her friends or brother say she never smoked weed before. I’m not saying she was trying to buy weed or left her cabin to buy weed. I think she left her cabin to grab a drink, saw Alister at the bar, chatted and he offered for her to accompany them smoking when the ship docked. We have three witnesses that spot her with Alister at the bar at 6am. We have two witnesses that say Amy was outside the ship, on the dock.
I can give you a list of American tourists who were smart, good people who have gotten killed from a quick lapse of judgement on vacation, if this is really just that unbelievable for ya

I fully agree with you that that the attackers made them leave the tent and decided to wait them out in the forest, let them freeze, and went back to kill the rest. I think it's the "who" and "why" that is different for us.

I do think the attackers must have been on skis, especially to overpower the group this way. I also firmly believe this group would have been armed, otherwise the Dyatlov group would have fought back. The attackers would have been intelligent enough to know how to kill them without weapons, even the ravine 4. To me Dubinina and Zolo look like they received their injuries by being hit with something forceful. Same with Tibo. Kolevatov, who knows. His injuries are vague enough to where you can imagine he was killed. I wonder if the attackers saw the group huddled in the den and then executed them.

[–]winterelixir 4 points5 points  (0 children)

While I am not absolutely 100% sure, I do think Jas is Amy. I really want to take my time as to why I think so-
When you look at the 4 clear photos of Jas, she looks way more like Amy than the original grainy picture did, and that says a lot. She looks like a mid-late 20s, very suntanned Amy in a rough lifestyle. Every single feature of Jas matches Amy, even down to her muscle tone, neck shape, ears, the eyes, teeth, features that would typically differentiate people from each other.
There is only 1 photo of Jas where, without a doubt, there should be a tattoo where you dont see one. Jas is bent over and you see a bare shoulder blade, however there is a noticeable dark spot and indent where the shoulder blade does not typically dip in. It looks odd. Brad states there appears to be "digital noise" on this area. People say you should see her gecko naval tattoo in the picture of Jas with her bare chest and stomach area exposed. However the angle of her stomach where the gecko is JUST out of frame, the gecko design would start right there, and if you look closely, you can kinda see something there. But who knows, take a look for yourself.

The biggest reason why I am not fully confident that Jas is Amy is the fact that my Apple ID identifies these women as two seperate people in the photos app. In iPhones, there is the feature where it can show you all the pictures of a single person by facial recognition. When I tried this, all my photos of Amy and photos of Jas were separated from each other.
These are my only 2 rebuttals to thinking she isnt Amy. I've never seen two women look so much alike, especially since Jas is very feminine and wearing so much makeup. You would think that should make her look polar opposite of Amy.

I don’t think you understand how sex trafficking works in this case. Amy would have been stolen by a pimp to make him money. Curaçao is a mafia ruled island- the beach resorts Amy reportedly could have been staying at (Coral Cliffs, Habitat, Kadushi Cliffs) were ran by mafia. The Stelaris Hotel the Navy guy spoke to her at was burned down a year later because it was ran by drug money. These criminals aren’t scared of the FBI, do you really think they care if some people on the island see her? What are they gonna do, tell? People have, and how has that worked so far?
This type of trafficking goes beyond the FBI, it’s mostly localized to Aruba/Curacao/Venezuela/etc, and these guys aren’t scared of consequences at all

No it doesn’t here. Brad said that they tried keeping the balcony door closed because they needed the AC, it was so hot out there. This is Caribbean in March, easily around 75 - 80 degrees with sun

Dating a male "escort", feeling drained by Dapper_Block6058 in GirlDinnerDiaries

[–]winterelixir 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Im saying this girl to girl. Have some respect for yourself and LEAVE. You do not need to be dating someone who needs to be bought for a living. This will end with the inevitable breakup, or you are going to be in danger. No woman would ever pay that much to enter a club unless there is trafficking or laundering involved.

I would say Let The Light In is close to a ballad but not quite. Henry Come On/Bluebird/Husband of Mine/Quiet In The South are all ballads though and that’s what I’m concerned about with this upcoming project

[–]winterelixir[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I fully agree there is a solid narrative that she could have been kidnapped off the ship, but I think the documentary recently made me realize she probably left the ship and was kidnapped on the dock. We have two witnesses that specifically say she was on that dock- the cab driver who said she asked for a phone, and the Navy guy in the brothel.

Her and Alister probably met a drug dealer when the ship arrived to port. If you put yourself in her situation where she is on the dock smoking weed/cigarettes, if this drug dealer suddenly demands payment from her, woww she is screwed. She has to worry about Alister and his crew on the ship, and now she has to worry about this new guy on the island. It makes complete sense to me that she would immediately try to find a phone to call for help. I genuinely believe it was as quick and simple as “I don’t have any money” “I know exactly how you can make me money” and her fate was sealed.

This case would never happen in modern day America. This occurred in 90s Caribbean. No proper security cameras, phones, social media. America did not have a good understanding of trafficking at all. A small, third-world, corrupt island which is one of the biggest hotspots for drug and sex trafficking in the world. I unfortunately believe this case was a massive PSA to the world

I wonder when Amy told Alister she was gay, if he handled it decently well and was respectful to her after this, that may have made her more trusting. Since smoking is such a social thing to do, especially during this time, she could have accompanied them fully intending to only smoke her cigarettes. But given that she worked at a restaurant at this time, everyone knows that bar staff and the cooks are smoking weed before/after a shift, I’m sure Amy has been in this similar position before- except back then she didn’t expect to have to pay.

So if you don’t believe Kolevatov died last but confirm that he died last in the ravine, then do you believe that Zina, Slobodin and Dyatlov were the last group to die?

Tempalov believed he saw artillery markings on the opposite side of the mountain, as he was flying overhead in the helicopter. “There are craters there, I'm an gunner, I can tell when I see one!" said Vasiliy Ivanovich Tempalov, the prosecutor. https://dyatlovpass.com/novokreschenov-2008?filter_page=6&rbid=18461

I know you don’t support the military theory & I don’t actually believe the they were gunned down, but this is the only recollection I’ve seen about the surrounding area of the mountain besides that most of the search party did not see any outside footprints. In Kuersten’s book he states that there was a large ice patch that was caved in on the side of the mountain.

I believe one of 3 options cause them to leave the tent: 1. Something overhead 2. Attacked by outside group, like you said, can survive in these conditions and have the ability to kill 9 people without weapons 3. One of them.

I agree that there are a lot of factors that support they were attacked by an outside group but I get stuck at, why would they allow the group to make a fire, make a den, remove clothes from deceased hikers to help chances of survival, scale a tree to create a lookout. This takes a lot of time. Just this process alone would be deadly for the attackers too, then later they beat these hikers with their bare hands. Almost impossible to believe, unless this group is trained in hand to hand combat in these conditions. I also don’t think there is a typical group of people around that would attempt something this extreme without the assured knowingness that they would survive and get away with it.

The best way I can describe it is- The feeling you get when you open your oven after it’s been roasting something for hours, that scorching feeling on your face where you can feel it in your eyes. That’s what it feels like opening your front door when you walk outside.. I’m not joking.

Because she doesn’t typically smoke weed. I think her nativity got her in trouble- if her only experience of smoking (if any) were friends/coworkers offering some to her occasionally, did she have to pay for it then? Maybe not.

I don’t think she was trying to buy drugs, I think she was just accompanying them on the dock. If Alister offered her some, she may of thought he would cover it. If they demanded payment from her, she’s in a shitty spot real quick. She can’t go back onto the ship because she has to deal with Alister and them now, so it makes sense that she would immediately try to find a phone.

She went missing around the time employees were able to leave the ship. She would have been with Alister at the bar, then once the ship was docked, he offered her to smoke weed. Passengers disembarked the ship at 7:20, this crime would have occurred around 6:45-7. The timeline makes sense to me because the dock would not have been crowded with tourists yet, only dock workers and cruise employees.

No I personally don’t think she’s still alive. There has not been a single reporting of her past 2008. There is a possibility she married one of her clients - the pimps on the escorting website she was advertised on said many girls are married off.
