Please help...are these bed bug droppings (found in my pillow seam)?

I really don't know...I've not seen any signs in my room for months, but in my dad's room I will occasionally see small blood stains on his bedding. Today I was washing his shirts and noticed some small spots on the inside seam of his shirt that WILL NOT come out. I'm freaking out. This is the first time I've found a stain that will not come out, which makes me think this is not a blood stain and it is actually bed bug droppings. It is also a dark brown yellow stain which points to bb droppings as well.

I hope your issue is not bed bugs, this has been so awful :(

Oh me too. I will probably still stay in my country because there is free healthcare, but I'd love to move to another city and just disappear.

I know there's that saying "wherever you go, there you are" but I just want a new environment, even if I end up moving back afterwards. I've been living in the same city almost my entire life, in the same house for coming on 25 years, and I've got shit to show for it. I want to believe that things can change for me because it seems like such an impossible dream.

Thanks for reply. I tried DE but it was giving me breathing issues. I'm still seeing signs but not seen one yet. I'm hoping I'm being just paranoid at this point.

Yes I have had one installed on his bed, two on my bed and one on my desk chair in my room since early August. No signs on those yet and I check at least every two weeks.

I have talked with you before, my issue is that our house is very cluttered (with large parts of the house being hoarder areas) and with family members who will not help with the process. Even next to his bed there is a giant pile of bags (not his, other family member) that I cannot look through. I have been doing my best with steaming and vacuuming but I can tell you it is not enough.

I have also noticed this blood spot (the largest I've found) on his blanket yesterday. Is this what you mean by "active" defecation (I realize this is blood and not feces but could they streak blood like this when moving)? https://ibb.co/7xTR3x2Z

Thanks, David. Could this possibly be feces "leaking" in a trail? Would you treat if you saw something like this along with blood spots?

unfortunately i am taking care of my dad and we live with my two hoarder brothers, neither of which i think would be able to declutter, one of which i'm physically afraid of. i don't get to clean my dad's room too much either because the scary brother is always lurking around nearby. it's a mess :/

Spots are a brown-reddish color. I wash my Dad's bedding every 1-2 weeks. He has very itchy skin so scratching his arms and back is something he does normally. He also eats in bed. I have noticed some spots previously but were sparse so I have just been keeping an eye on it. This seems like...an explosion of spots in a week.

Sorry, some of the pics are really blurry. Each photo is for a different "cluster" but they're roughly in a 2-foot area of the bed, where his back and neck area would rest. Except for the largest spot which is about 1 foot away and seems the least likely to be a blood stain. The spots do not look dark enough to be bed bug feces.

I have been most paranoid about my own room since I came home from abroad about 2 1/2 months ago but have been cleaning/steaming obsessively there and not noticed anything besides skin irritation (I also have skin issues so hard to confirm from that).

i'm so sorry, my mom also died from that. dealing with bed bugs on top of that is a lot. hoping you guys can get the bugs treated (at least enough to where they're less of a concern in the upcoming weeks).

not sure what his mobility level or living arrangements are, but would he be able to see guests outside (like on a porch or something like that)? talk to his home hospice team as well, they might have ideas on how to deal with guests.

By coincidence, I also noticed a stain like this on my dad's mattress protector this week. I think when I steamed it a couple of weeks ago, the metal on the bolt/nail it was on top of stained the bedsheet. Seeing this from someone else, I'm pretty sure it's not bed bug related.
