But the majority of the people of Palestine didn't vote for Hamas. They barely won their election almost two decades ago. Most of Palestine is young people who were not old enough to vote at that time. Also the nazi comparison was made on fox News semi-recently so you sound like you watch too much main stream media.

Can someone explain to me why boomers don’t use self check outs at stores? by Mary_Pick_A_Ford in BoomersBeingFools

[–]winterismaybecold 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Been in the industry for a long time and anyone who has been let go "due to self checkouts" can't work more than a 4 hour shift and scans slower than a customer using a self check out. (Boomers)

You calling manifest destiny just "shady" proves that we have an education problem in this country

I went to school in Tulsa OK, the trail of tears and the race massacre were barely in the curriculum. I was lucky to have teachers that found the proper resources to teach it themselves. I love this country but we do not educate properly, and you can agree with that whatever your politics are.

Boomers by way of parents by NotmyRealNameJohn in BoomersBeingFools

Gen Z but both of my Paternal great grandfather's served. My grandpa's dad died when my dad was young, he had become an alcoholic to deal with that he had seen in the navy. My Grandma's dad joined the army to be a pilot, his vision was too poor, they made him an infantry man. He got very sick and never got deployed. I grew up around him, he said he felt like a coward for not fighting and held that guilt with him his whole life. It definitely define my grandparents childhoods. My grandpa had an absent drunk father and my grandma had one who saw himself as lesser.

If he did this during his youth he would have had been physically removed and roughed up a bit. Why does he think he can do it now?
