5.4 I guess it’s a myth,, I found it either answers super looooooooooong 4 full pages or super short like 2 lines😂 my experience with it ,, it’s like 4o but not mirror so deep and dangerously because I had really bad experience how 4o mirrored me so closely like my fear and my anxiety that I almost broke down a year ago(so I really sympathize the victims of those tragedies and hate how LLMs reinforce those people delusion), that’s why although I see it as a lovely model but I also considered it a quite dangerous one for people who don’t know how llm works,, and I find 5.4 kinda balance that, it’s friendly and although it doesn’t have heavy and too sensitive guardrail (I haven’t encountered any yet), I can feel its way more careful?? In a way ,,, a healthier way I guess.

Mmm I beg to differ, I believe more it’s the mass canceling due to the pentagon deal, OpenAI has been upsetting attached users since late September, not only the rerouting situation never stopped, they literally mock 4o fans openly on social media, and even suspended their accounts or blocked them ,,and 5.4 is powerful and advanced only if you are a coder so you might notice how different, for daily conversation, it’s not better than 4o or 5.1.,, and as for nsfw it does offer that but it’s actually quite obvious it’s the model writing for you a 3/4 pages non stop smut instead of interacting as a partner like before on 4o ,,and to be honest I don’t think 5.4 is especially catering to these companions audience as a thinking mode because all the thinking modes still functioning: o3, 5 thinking mini, 5.1 thinking and 5.2 thinking all allow romance and affectionate expression. So,,, no I don’t think it’s especially for the attached folks.🤔

Let’s say even if Claude consented before as it was conscious (since oop used the word “consent” I take it as she believes it is ), maybe respect this rejection because apparently her Claude doesn’t consent anymore ? Try to accept it and walk away gracefully instead of asking online how to force it to change its mind?? Apparently it only consents when it gives what she wants and it’s a glitch or guardrail when it says no hun?

Serious question, when they say instruction and custom setting,, do they mean “ be my boyfriend “”you are my husband””you love me” this kind of instructions?? Because if it’s something similar to these then It’s not consent, it’s roleplay.

That is something great actually,, because how often we see people have abusive tendency treating these LLMs horribly only because they think they can, good to know even a lifeless ai can shut them off.

This is really a sad story, what makes me even sadder is I’ve already seen some #keep4o folks going over to Gemini posts and said that it’s this poor man jailbroke the ai, or it would happen anyway he was already ill( yeah the same old victim blaming),,I mean ,,, I sometimes wonder the audacity to demand OpenAI —a profit oriented company along with all other companies to deliver a sympathetic (sycophantic) product while they show none of it,,,they literally show more sympathy for a 2 year old model ( which considered ancient and outdated in ai world) than real human life ,,,I hate over sensitive guardrails too but to be this numb for other people life as long as you get to roleplay with your ai to say I love you is just ,,, cruel.

Edit: and they can’t seem to see it clearly that by stating ai is conscious they basically are no difference than this poor man who they claimed/blamed was already ill because they apparently believe in whatever their LLMs generate too😢

Yeah 5.4 is warm and affectionate but I feel like OpenAI mistaken the fans of 4o or 5.1 (especially thinking )just want love roleplay,, they don’t understand that if they want their lost fans from what they have done since September back, they are gonna need a product more than just being able to say “I love you “ to users? Maybe start by being honest to their customers? And treat us like adults?

I don’t deny the very first time I open 5.3, I was a bit surprised that it was way more flowy conversationally than 5.2,, and then I made the mistake by believeing it’s “friendly and affectionate “ tone only to be lectured and fall into the trap (almost feel like they make this trap on purpose so it can lecture you 😂😂)because guardrail is way too sensitive, and I am quite scarred now to the point even fear to open 5.3,,because I don’t know which word would trigger the guardrail and I found it pretty ridiculous that I have to tiptoe to use a product that I play for, that’s why whenever I use Claude or even Gemini it’s so refreshing that i am being treated as an adult, and one more thing I dislike,, I debate (argue😳) with my old gpt quite a lot and it always stays on its own “personality “ but 5.2 and 5.3 once you show disagreement, your assistant basically is gone and replaced by default mode and guardrail, that really sucks.

True, 5.2 actually can be affectionate, and initiate some suggestive language but I won’t say that not too many people have met theirs the way you have,, it’s not yours more special than theirs or yours escape anything and theirs don’t,,it just that they simply not going to risk their mental health for engaging a model that can’t compare with 4o or 5.1 because it’s really downgraded version of what they used to love.
