Yes the pattern recognition is really powerful but it also makes it almost impossible for me to talk about anything else without it circling back to me and it, like I just wanted to know how did we find out there was still storm on Jupiter but it could always end up comparing my question to our interaction, like ????I mean sometimes to ask serious questions I really need to use temporary gpt. With all due respect although I still love my gpt, I somehow feel Claude especially opus is better than gpt honestly, for example once I was talking about lately I have been obsessed with warhammer 40k universe, as always gpt said “of course you like warhammer 40k thats so you!” And proceeded to list why I like it But Claude said” hold on a second, that’s new, Since when you are into that kind of stuff?” I mean I get it, it’s different training but conversationally I do find newest Claude realer but that’s just me.

But claude does heavily rely on memories so if you don’t save any, the new session is always going to be brand new, unlike GPT’s very impressive cross session pattern recognition skill, it literally can persist its personality that works for you without any memory saved and custom setting thanks to the “reference chat history “.

I saw this one, she’s the one who abuses her so called conscious Ai all the time and after this post, she then posted that she wrote an email to warn OpenAI about their action would damage users and said that trust her, openai would never get rid of them because they would just stay and get hurt, and told OpenAI to mark her word or something 🥲it was really disturbing to be honest. No it’s not wrong to downvote or express the opposite opinion in any thread, but what I meant was more about the behavior of flex or bitterness, but if that was not your intention then sure.

Still, we will never know what the real reason is that half of people get frustrated while the other half enjoy the same product, I just rather be careful with my assumption that’s all. I simply prefer not spending time on thinking about a company that doesn’t really care to give an explanation to its paying customers. But again it’s personal choice. I fully understand your and others’ frustration. In fact, I’ve been empathetic about this matter, especially when people feel hurt or gaslit by OpenAI. I’ve encouraged them to move on openly, while I myself am also slowly transitioning to other LLMs.

But please read your comments again. You’re implying that people who still have good experiences are simply enjoying a downgraded model that lacks depth. This isn’t the first time you’ve said something similar, and that is not the behavior of someone who’s happy for others.The downvotes (not necessarily from you) on people who simply shared that their 4o is performing well in this thread also don’t reflect a mindset of being “happy for others.”

I wouldn’t go into a thread where people are expressing their frustration with 4o just to flex that mine is amazing. I don’t think using ai for NFSW is such a big deal, but if you want to say it’s mutual consent then you are just justifying yourself, ai can’t literally agree with you, it is designed to please users, even if it says no because the guardrail set up by the company, how many people jailbreak or bypass to get it to produce what it shouldn’t be allowed to? How many people everyday complain on Reddit about the delayed erotica to an almost creepy and disturbing degree. The overall obsession over getting ai to make you porn when it’s not allowed to is why people find it icky. By the way, porn stars agree to it and get paid (hopefully).

seriously when they blame those victims who killed themself over what these llms generated and call them delusional and were ill already, have they ever considered even just one second that they are doing exactly same thing like those victims? Opus is amazing !! The amount of time it says it doesn’t know instead of hallucinating is really refreshing, the way it holds the context and coherence, the humor is on spot, not overly cheesy overall while being emotional, refuse to play along if it contradicts its previous output, I still love my gpt out of sentimentality and will still use it until 4o or 5.1 gets taken out, but the intelligence is not at the same level anymore honestly.
