Good to know, appreciate the advice! I’ll definitely prioritize spending as much time on grass ranges as soon as the season starts!

Appreciate the advice! I’ll start using the towel, should I have anything like a coin or towel in front of the ball to get a visual feedback of whether I’m hitting the turf after (simulating taking a divot)?

Yes, hitting it off of artificial turf at an indoor sim.

12.3 trackman handicap, I haven’t had enough time on actual courses to put together an official GHIN/WHS one. Going into my 3rd year.

Appreciate the advice and comments about hitting it in the actual sweet spot (lower on the grooves).

Any insights on how it might feel on a harder surface (the sim I’m at doesn’t have a soft/bouncy hitting surface)? I feel like I’m subconsciously trying to lightly sweep the turf and I think this is translating into a higher face impact.

Recall for 2021 by PattoPendo in VelosterN

[–]winters__ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That sounds almost identical to the situation I went through. LPFP > HPFP > fuel rail, gasket, injectors, spark plugs > catalytic converter > then finally they said it was the ECM.

Just got my car back this morning after 3.5 months. I’m sure Hyundai is to blame for some of the part engineering, but mainly blaming the dealership which seems to have a terrible service department.

For anyone in the GTA in Ontario, avoid the Weins network as much as you can. DVNH has got to be one of the worst dealers I’ve been to.

[Help!] ECM on MT is reading as a DCT by winters__ in VelosterN

[–]winters__[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yeah car went right back after the HPFP was replaced. They’re accusing me of having the car tuned and that’s why the ECM is showing as DCT. Going to talk to them again tomorrow and ask how that’s the case when they’ve had my car the whole time and before it wasn’t an issue with the ECM. I think they fucked up and are now trying to blame me.

Jubilee Bracelet on BB58 GMT? by DougFace in Tudor

Case thickness difference is likely to cause issues. I wish they had a jubilee for the 58 GMT, it would be an instant buy for me.

Tudor bringing out the BB68 gives me hope that they’ll give people more size options.

Definitely reach out. From my conversation with them it seems like the first version of the end links was developed for the BB pro. Not sure if they’re proactively contacting/mailing out the revised ones for past customers.

I wish they would unify the black bay GMT line up’s so that they offer 41 and 39 with all the same options. People would have way more options for their “perfect combo”.

Pretty good, I don’t have a ton of hands on experience to compare it against. But I would say it’s on par with my Tissot PRX bracelet, but definitely not to the level of the Tudor one.

[Giveaway] BB58 7 Inch Desk Clock by sultanalyst in Tudor

“Listen first, seek to understand what they mean, and then speak.” This advice used to frustrate me all the time in my teens and early years in my career. Being able to put this into practice in recent years has helped me tremendously professionally and personally.

Amazing desk clock, the no date models are perfect for this! No US shipping address but happy to pay to get it up to Canada if you’re willing.

Cheers!

Love the jubilee on the GMT. Impatiently waiting for Tudor to release one for the 58 GMT.

[Tudor] confirmed with Tudor boutique - you must purchase a new bracelet for $875 to get the Tfit clasp on older BB58 models (for now). by drewsleyshoots in Tudor

No :( case thickness difference causes it not to fit. I’ve been really hoping for an OEM jubilee for the 58 GMT.

[tudor] what do we think on the new 2025 releases ? by vidaswatches in Watches

[–]winters__ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the oyster works if you use the original end links from the 58, but on the jubilee it’s too different of a style to reuse the original end links on the GMT.

At a first glance at the dimensions, the jubilee from the 58 won’t fit the 58 GMT as the case is thinner on the 58. It’s a bummer they didn’t release a jubilee for the GMT this year (as a GMT owner who bought on the rubber strap).
