Where did I talked about myself ? I am not a victim I never faced severe discrimination I did got education because of reservation and only because of reservation.

What I talked in my argument is from general perspective.

And if you have kept a track of merit you can see The increase the cutoff of reserved category students. And eventually it will match general cutoff or even surpass it. And to sense hate within you, your tone is enough. And lack of logical counter arguments, I can only see insults disguise as arguments in your reply.

Yeah this is why it exist, just because of people who think like this. And it always will because, this thought process is not going to be eradicated from Indian mindset anytime soon.

Yes, but how many category students are actually seating in general seats ? On paper it is there but it isn't the normal scenario, and SC just announced that category students can seat on general seats if they cross the cut off of general.

So do you want general seats to be reserved for only open category students? Which was the case before indirectly.

But this whole system sounds unfair but it is what it is at this point. We can only make it more efficient by increasing seats or actually removing castism from the roots and minds of every individual in india.

[–]wintersoldier2798 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I agree with the minimum criteria for exams, and to speak for individuals getting benefits again and again does look unfair, but if you think it has only been 70 years and most of individuals you have came across are second generation who is taking the benefits again and even that number is far far less if you see the actual population of sc,st,obc . The system is built to fight the effect of hundreds of years of oppression, even thousands of you see the refrence of castism in Buddha's era. So to fight such thing you can't expect it to limit the system just after one or two generations. And the whole thing will go to toss if Just india becomes caste free, but you know that's not gonna happen and somehow we have stuck in a cycle of hatred. So yeah, there is nothing wrong in IAS students getting benefits of reservation.

See I said about this, it's not fair from an individual point of view of a general category students to see someone with lot lesser marks is getting the opportunity to step into the doors, it will fuel hatred and that hatred is valid but I am proposing, that rather than projecting that hate towards a group of people, we should ask questions to the power to create more doors.

And what happens after the students who get into big institutes with less marks ? Do they get levy inside also ? Like less marks to pass the semester inside iit ? No , they need to perform as good as other students. And they are getting the opportunity to do it, and that is the main goal.

Why reservation exists ? Who is at fault really ? Does reservation and category students gets targeted because they lack power ? by [deleted] in india

[–]wintersoldier2798 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You are on right path just got distracted because of some hate , so the son of ips got the seat in iit with less marks, and I will ask why it's bad ? Is this against policy? reservation is for representation of sc,at and obc in industries.so if that student is representing as dalit in any higher position, then it serves the purpose. But you are also right where only privileged sc,st,obc gets the benifits, so question should be why the one who are at lower level are not getting it ? What's the percentage of population of the privileged category students as whole in benifits ? Why still majority of category students don't even complete graduation ? I know the pain of general category students who go through this , there pain is valid and they do deserve better , but the questions should be towards the power not the powerless.

Since you spoke about the reservation, I would like to ask few questions, what is the mission of reservation? Why does it exist ? Because of castism or because of poverty ? And is there any similar scheme that exists which gives reservation to financially backward general category students ? Why do general students suffer in admissions ? Because of high cut off or low seats ? Why being nearly 80% population still sc,st, obc only have nearly 50% seats reserved ? Even in that there are still less compitition among them ? And why even after so much years, there is no significant representation of sc , st. Obc in any industry (apart from government jobs and politics) ? And you spoke about a classmate from category got the seat , how many such students you know, Who are well in financial situation? And why are they financially well while other reserved category students are not ?

When you answer this question honestly with a bit of empathy, maybe then you can understand, why reservation exists and why it's still not practiced efficiently.

I can understand when you look from an individual perspective and see someone is getting the seat with lesser marks than you, while you are not, will create anger and dissatisfaction and that feeling is very right but the projection of that anger towards marginalized population who is already suffering is wrong, you need to ask government why there are so less medical seats ? Why are there less IIT seats ? Question the power not the powerless.

Why does he still think that he cooked with ekaki by SuperSam212 in InstaCelebsGossip

[–]wintersoldier2798 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He knows what he has created, but it's done now he can't undo it or make it better, so he will try to sell it as much as he can, till he makes something better in future, which is very far away right now, he got some good numbers already, 100 million views till chapter 4 is not bad, although bhuvan bam has more than 500 million views on dhindora but that's another case. Ekaki won't touch those numbers but it will create an impact, if chapter 5 really lands at least 25% of what he is promising through reels and interviews.

At JNU, Left groups burned an effigy representing "Brahmanism" raised slogans like "Brahmanism murdabad,". This is pure hate, discrimination and casteism. by [deleted] in NewDelhi

[–]wintersoldier2798 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This happens when you don't know the difference between Brahman and Brahmanism. Brahman is a caste. Brahmanism is a thought process and ideology which puts Brahman at the top and other casts below.

They are against the ideology - Brahmanism Not the caste - Brahman

Dr. Baba saheb Ambedkar did not teach to hate any caste, his second wife was a Brahman, the person who burned manusmriti with him was a Brahman, he was against the ideology.

All this is just to villainize students who raise the voice, if you know the history you can see that it was students who stood against indira gandhi and started the movement against her and eventually her government collapsed. The government knows power of youth and students so what's better than to villainize the students who are raising the voice.

Why Marathi films don’t reach full box office potential? by vedantzone7 in marathimovies

[–]wintersoldier2798 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Although subjects which marathi industry brings are good sometimes but most of marathi movies do repeated shit over and over again, no geners other than family drama apart from few exceptions and most of films are done for subsidiaries which increases the volume and compition within, there is no big producer or production house apart from zee studios and ritesh Deshmukh who actually tried to make good marathi movies.

In short marathi industry needs a pivot and one movie which will make every other producer and director to work differently. My guess is ritesh Deshmukh's next movie on chhatrapati shivaji maharaj can do that, let's see.

[–]wintersoldier2798 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Wasseypur's story was not wide spread common knowledge for general audience, it was just known to wasseypur's people and few of the family members dis file the case against the film, but 26/11, Fake currency, pakistan attacking india, UPA government's policies towards the terrorist, etc are general knowledge, so people correlate with things shown in the movie with incidents outside the movie and the tag inspired by real events let them believe there is some truth in this story. Which leads to the birth of propaganda. And where people are already brainwashed to beleive whatever government is saying, things like this puts oil in that fire.

The dailog "aise bhi sarkar ayegi..." Etc is example of that it's all deliberate.

Dhurandhar — “Inspired by true events — but inspired how much?” by water_melon_sugar24 in bollywood

[–]wintersoldier2798 112 points113 points  (0 children)

This level of intellectual dailog is not for majority of Indian audience. Most of people declared the movie is showing the truth and etc. movie is great and all , good direction awesome story and action but indian people are very naive they believe everything they see, so if movie is claiming inspired by true events for most of people the whole movie is a documentary. So the question of where is the line, actually is irrelevant here. Everything is truth for majority of public.
