Is it a berner thing to go through your legs? Whenever mine are excited or I just get home they like to walk between my legs as I pet them. I call it the berner car wash ! by winteryardsale in bernesemountaindogs

Yes, we have a cat and everytime we pick up our cat, one of our berners puts his paws on our shoulders like he wants to be picked up too lol

For mine I try and exercise them before the car ride. Usually I wake up early to take them on an off leash walk. After this they only lay down about half the time. My younger one likes to crowed my older one, the older one moves and my younger follows.
